聖使者、巡察者已定命若此、使天下之人、皆知至上者、秉其鈞衡、在乎寰區之內、隨意昇降、以賤為貴、治理民人、

此由守者所定、由聖者所決、使天下人知至上者、主掌人間之國、隨意以國賜人、亦能以人間卑微者立為國主、

“‘ The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of people.’

“‘ The decision is announced by holy messengers. So all who are alive will know that the Most High God is King. He rules over all kingdoms on earth. He gives them to anyone he wants. Sometimes he puts the least important people in charge of them.’

The sentence is by the decree of the watchers, the decision by the word of the holy ones, to the end that the living may know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will and sets over it the lowliest of men.’

For this has been decreed by the messengers; it is commanded by the holy ones, so that everyone may know that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world. He gives them to anyone he chooses— even to the lowliest of people.”

This word is by decree of the watchers, and the decision is by command from the holy ones. This is so that the living will know that the Most High is ruler over human kingdoms. He gives them to anyone he wants and sets the lowliest of people over them.

This sentence is by the decree of the angelic watchers, And the decision is a command of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind, And He grants it to whomever He wishes And sets over it the lowliest of people.”

你必從人間被趕出，你的住處必與田野的走獸在一起；你必像牛那樣吃牧草，被天上的露水濕透，讓七個時期從你流過，直到你明白：至高者在人的國中掌權，他願意把國賜給誰就賜給誰。

王啊，至高神把國度、權勢、尊榮和威嚴賜給了你先王尼布甲尼撒！因著神所賜給他的權勢，所有的民族、國家、語言群體都在他面前戰兢恐懼；他想要殺誰就殺誰，想要讓誰活就讓誰活，想要高舉誰就高舉誰，想要降卑誰就降卑誰。然而，他心裡高舉自己，靈裡變得剛硬，以致行事狂傲，就從王權的寶座上被廢黜，他的尊榮也被奪去了。他從世人中被趕出，他的心變得像獸的心一樣，他的住處與野驢在一起，他像牛那樣吃牧草，身體被天上的露水濕透，直到他明白：至高神在人的國中掌權，願意立誰就立誰治理國家。

是他改變時勢和時期；是他廢王、立王；是他賜智慧給智慧人，賜知識給有悟性的人；

因為人被高舉不是來自東面或西面，也不是來自曠野；因為神是審判者，他降卑這人、高舉那人；

「此後必有一個卑鄙的人興起坐上王位；他沒有被賜予王權的尊榮，卻在人安穩無備的時候來到，以奸猾的手段抓取了王權。

神也揀選了世上出身低微的、被人藐視的，就是那些不是什麼的，為了要廢除那些是個什麼的，

那四個活物，各個都有六個翅膀，遍體內外都布滿了眼睛。他們日夜不停地說：「聖哉！聖哉！聖哉！主、神、全能者，昔在、今在、將要來臨的那一位！」

卑劣的事在世人中受尊崇時，惡人就四處橫行。

他們彼此呼喊說：「聖哉！聖哉！聖哉！萬軍之耶和華！他的榮耀充滿全地。」

你必從人間被趕出，你的住處必與田野的走獸在一起；你必像牛那樣吃牧草，讓七個時期從你流過，直到你明白：至高者在人的國中掌權，他願意把國賜給誰就賜給誰。」這話立刻就應驗在尼布甲尼撒身上；他從人間被趕出，像牛那樣吃牧草，身體被天上的露水濕透，直到他的頭髮長得像鷹的羽毛，指甲長得像鳥的爪子。那些日子結束了，我尼布甲尼撒舉目望天，我的理智回到我身上。我就頌讚至高者，稱讚、尊崇永遠活著的那一位——他的權柄是永遠的權柄，他的國度世世代代長存！地上所有的居民都算為無有，他照著自己的旨意對待天上的眾軍和地上的居民。沒有人能攔住他的手，或對他說：「你做什麼？」

我在神、基督耶穌，和蒙揀選的天使面前鄭重地勸誡你：遵守這些話要毫無成見，做任何事都不要偏心。

「我在床上時，我在腦海中的異象裡繼續觀看，看哪，有一位守望者，就是一位聖者，從天上降下！他大聲高呼，這樣說：『你們當砍倒這樹，砍掉它的枝子，打落它的葉子，拋散它的果實；使走獸從樹下逃離，使飛鳥從樹枝逃離！

我又聽見主的聲音說：「我可以差遣誰呢？誰肯為我們去呢？」我就說：「我在這裡，差遣我！」

最後，那照著我神的名稱為伯提沙撒的但以理，來到我面前，他裡面有聖潔之神的靈；我就向他說了這夢：「術士的領袖伯提沙撒啊，我知道你裡面有聖潔之神的靈，任何奧祕都難不倒你！你就講說我所看到的夢中異象和夢的釋義吧！

願他們蒙羞惶恐，直到永遠；願他們抱愧滅亡。願他們知道，你——名為耶和華的，唯獨你是全地之上的至高者。
