必有個第四國，剛硬如鐵，像能壓毁東西的鐵，鐵能砸碎能擊破百物；那國必砸破壓毁列國。

第四国，必坚壮如铁，铁能打碎克制百物，又能压碎一切，那国也必打碎压制列国。

第四国必坚壮如铁，就像铁能打碎砸碎一切；铁怎样压碎一切，那国也必照样打碎压碎。

第四国必坚壮如铁，就像铁能打碎砸碎一切；铁怎样压碎一切，那国也必照样打碎压碎。

接着是坚如铁的第四国，能击垮、打碎列国，正如铁能击垮、打碎一切。

还有第四国，坚强如铁，因为铁能砸碎击破万物；铁怎样压碎一切，那国也要照样砸碎一切。

然后会有第四个国，它必强硬如铁。铁怎样砸碎、击破一切，怎样压碎一切，这国也照样砸碎、压碎一切。

第四國，必堅壯如鐵，鐵能打碎剋制百物，又能壓碎一切，那國也必打碎壓制列國。

接著是堅如鐵的第四國，能擊垮、打碎列國，正如鐵能擊垮、打碎一切。

然後會有第四個國，它必強硬如鐵。鐵怎樣砸碎、擊破一切，怎樣壓碎一切，這國也照樣砸碎、壓碎一切。

復有其四之國、堅剛似鐵、夫鐵能服百物而碎之、此國亦必行破壞如鐵然、

最後一國、剛強若鐵、鐵能服百物而碎之、眾國皆為所破、

其後又有一國、即第四國、剛強若鐵、鐵能破百物而碎之、其國將破眾國而碎之、如鐵之破百物、

Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron— for iron breaks and smashes everything— and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others.

Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom. It will be as strong as iron. Iron breaks and smashes everything to pieces. And the fourth kingdom will crush and break all the others.

And there shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron, because iron breaks to pieces and shatters all things. And like iron that crushes, it shall break and crush all these.

Following that kingdom, there will be a fourth one, as strong as iron. That kingdom will smash and crush all previous empires, just as iron smashes and crushes everything it strikes.

A fourth kingdom will be as strong as iron; for iron crushes and shatters everything, and like iron that smashes, it will crush and smash all the others.

Then there will be a fourth kingdom as strong as iron; just as iron smashes and crushes everything, so, like iron that crushes, it will smash and crush all these things.

此後我夜間異象中在觀看着，看見第四隻獸可怕可懼，非常強壯；牠有大鐵牙，吞喫嚼碎；剩下的用腳去踹。這獸跟以前所有的獸大不相同；牠有十個角。

那時我願確實知道第四隻獸的事：牠怎樣跟那三隻獸大不相同；怎樣非常可怕；有鐵牙銅爪，吞喫嚼碎，而剩下的又用腳去踹；我又願認清牠頭上的十個角、和那另長起來的一個角；在這個角前面怎樣有三個角被牠打落；這角怎樣有眼、有口、能說誇大的話；其形狀怎樣強猛、過於牠的同類。我在觀看，就看見這角同聖民接戰，竟勝了他們，直到壽高年邁者來臨，至高者之聖民得伸雪，那時聖民擁有國度的時候就到了。『那侍立者這麼說：「第四隻獸就是地上必有之第四個國，跟所有的國大不相同。牠必吞喫全地，踐踏它，嚼碎它。至於那十個角呢、從這國中必有十個王起來；此後必另有個王起來；跟先前所有的王都不相同；他必將三個王制伏住。他必說話頂撞至高者；必折磨至高者之聖民；想要改變節期和禮節規矩；聖民必被交付於他的手、一個時期、兩個時期、半個時期。然而審判者必坐堂審判；他的權柄必被奪去，被毁壞、被滅絕、一直到底。

『那王必任意而行，自高自大超過所有的神，又說了荒謬怪誕的話來攻擊萬神之神上帝。他倒會亨通順利，直到上帝的震怒發盡；因為鐵定的事必定作成。他必不顧他列祖的神，也不顧婦女所愛慕的神；無論何神他都不顧，因為他必自大高過一切。他倒要敬拜保障的神以代替之；他列祖所不認識的神、他倒要用金銀寶石和珍寶去敬拜。他必使敬拜外人之神的人民做守衛保障者；凡承認他的、他就將尊榮加給他們，使他們管轄大眾，又將土地分給他們做采地。『到了末了時期、南方王必跟他牴觸來牴觸去；北方王必用戰車、馬兵、和許多戰船、勢如暴風、來攻擊他；也必進入列國、如大水氾濫，橫流漫過。又必進入那華美之地；成千成萬的人必仆倒；但以下這些國的人：以東人、摩押人、和大部分的亞捫人：必被搭救脫離他的手。他必伸手攻擊列國之地，埃及地也逃脫不了。他必掌管埃及金銀的寶藏和各樣珍寶；呂彼亞人和古實人都必跟着他。但從東方和北方來的消息必使他驚惶，他就大發烈怒而出兵、要將大眾除滅，殺滅歸神。他必在海與華美的聖山之間樹立他宮殿式的帳幕。後來走到他的結局、也沒有人幫助他。

永恆主這麼說：『大馬色三番四次地悖逆，我必不收回成命，因為他用打糧食的鐵器打過基列。

六十二個七之後，必有一位受膏者要被剪除，而一無所有；必有一位將來的人君的兵眾來毁滅這城和這聖所。其結局必在橫流淹沒中；必有爭戰直到末了；荒涼的事乃是鐵定了的。

腿是鐵的，腳是半鐵半瓦的。

鐵能將鐵折斷麼？又是北方的鐵和銅？

若由着他這樣，眾人都會信他，羅馬人就會來，連我們的聖地帶我們民族都奪取了去啊。』

他的權勢必然強盛，卻不是出於他自己的權勢：他必行極出奇的毁滅，順利成功而行；他又必毁滅強盛者和聖者之民。
