God gave Solomon wisdom, very great insight, and understanding as vast as the sand on the seashore.

Your servant is among Your people You have chosen, a people too numerous to be numbered or counted.So give Your servant an obedient heart to judge Your people and to discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?”Now it pleased the Lord that Solomon had requested this.So God said to him,“ Because you have requested this and did not ask for long life or riches for yourself, or the death of your enemies, but you asked discernment for yourself to understand justice,I will therefore do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has never been anyone like you before and never will be again.

The Lord brings poverty and gives wealth; He humbles and He exalts.He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the garbage pile. He seats them with noblemen and gives them a throne of honor. For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s; He has set the world on them.

The whole world wanted an audience with Solomon to hear the wisdom that God had put in his heart.

All Israel heard about the judgment the king had given, and they stood in awe of the king because they saw that God’s wisdom was in him to carry out justice.

It is by me that kings reign and rulers enact just law;by me, princes lead, as do nobles and all righteous judges.

He has done a mighty deed with His arm; He has scattered the proud because of the thoughts of their hearts;He has toppled the mighty from their thrones and exalted the lowly.

along with all his reign, his might, and the incidents that affected him and Israel and all the kingdoms of the surrounding lands.

Above all, may the Lord give you insight and understanding when He puts you in charge of Israel so that you may keep the law of the Lord your God.

After some years they will form an alliance, and the daughter of the king of the South will go to the king of the North to seal the agreement. She will not retain power, and his strength will not endure. She will be given up, together with her entourage, her father, and the one who supported her during those times.

for I will give you such words and a wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.

Such wisdom does not come from above but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.For where envy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every kind of evil.But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without favoritism and hypocrisy.

But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became God-given wisdom for us— our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption,

The king consulted the wise men who understood the times, for it was his normal procedure to confer with experts in law and justice.

There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven:a time to give birth and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to uproot;a time to kill and a time to heal; a time to tear down and a time to build;a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance;a time to throw stones and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace and a time to avoid embracing;a time to search and a time to count as lost; a time to keep and a time to throw away;a time to tear and a time to sew; a time to be silent and a time to speak;a time to love and a time to hate; a time for war and a time for peace.

For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.He stores up success for the upright; He is a shield for those who live with integrity
