但以理在王面前回答說：「王所問的那奧祕的事，沒有智慧人、占卜者、術士或算命者能講明給王。然而天上有一位神，就是顯明奧祕的那一位，他已經使尼布甲尼撒王明白了末後的日子將要發生的事——這就是你在床上所做的夢和腦海中的異象。

你升上高天，擄掠了俘虜；你在人間，甚至在頑梗的人中，接受了供奉，好使耶和華神與他們同住！

神的聖所與偶像有什麼相同呢？要知道，我們是永生神的聖所，正如神所說：「我將要在他們中間居住，在他們中間往來；我將要做他們的神，他們將要做我的子民。」

「這是我永遠的安息之所；我要住在這裡，因為我選定了錫安。

耶和華如此說：「天是我的寶座，地是我的腳凳。你們要為我建造的殿宇在哪裡呢？我安歇的地方在哪裡呢？」耶和華宣告：「這一切是我手所造的，這一切就因此存在了。我要看顧這樣的人，就是謙卑、靈裡痛悔、因我的話語而戰兢的人。
