他说：“但以理啊，你走吧，因为这些事要保密，要被封起来，一直到末了。

他又对我说：“不可封住这卷书上的预言，因为时候快到了。

异象中所说的两千三百个昼夜是真的。但你要保密，不可告诉别人，因为这指的是遥远的将来。”

于是，他朝我站的地方走来，当他走来的时候，我吓得俯伏在地。他对我说：“人子啊，你要明白，这异象是关于末后的时期。”

我正要将雷鸣的意思记录下来，就听见天上有声音说：“你要封住七声雷鸣所说的事，别写下来。”

那时，聋子必听见那书卷上的话，黑暗中的瞎子必能看见。卑微的人必因耶和华而欢喜，贫穷的人必因以色列的圣者而快乐。

这天国的福音将传遍天下，让万民都听见，然后末日才会来临。

我的门徒啊，你们要把上帝的训诲卷起来，用印封好。

在我的整个圣山上，它们都不伤人、不害物。认识耶和华的人必充满天下，就像水充满海洋一样。

我看见另一位天使在空中飞翔，要将永远的福音传给地上的各国家、各部落、各语言族群、各民族。他大声说：“当敬畏上帝，归荣耀给祂，因为祂审判的时候到了。要敬拜造天、地、海和一切水源的那位。”

那些智者必教导许多民众，但他们将在一段时间内被刀剑杀戮，或被烧死，或被掳去，或被抢掠。

到那天，将没有光、严寒和冰霜。那将是奇特的日子，没有昼夜之分，晚上仍然有光，只有上帝知道那日何时来临。到那天，必有活水从耶路撒冷涌出，一半流向死海，一半流向地中海，冬夏不变。耶和华必做普世的王。到那天，必唯祂独尊，唯祂的名独尊。从迦巴直到耶路撒冷南边的临门，整个地区都要变为平原。从便雅悯门到旧门，再到角门，从哈楠业楼到王的榨酒池——耶路撒冷必仍然矗立在原处。

人们的眼睛必不再迷蒙，耳朵必能听见。

你要坚持到底。你必得到安息，到了末后的日子，你必起来承受你的产业。”

“到了末后，南方王必与北方王交战。北方王必率领战车、骑兵和大批战船攻击他，又如洪水般横扫列国。

波斯王塞鲁士执政第三年，但以理，又名伯提沙撒，得到启示。这启示是真实的，是关于一场大争战的事。但以理通过异象明白了启示的意思。

但我要问，以色列人没有听过吗？当然听过。因为“他们的声音传遍天下，他们的话语传到地极。”

耶和华包扎他百姓的创伤，医治祂子民的伤口时，月亮必发出太阳般的光辉，太阳的光辉必增加七倍，灿烂得好像七个太阳同时发光。
