And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

“ The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place.

“ A certain king will do as he pleases. He will honor himself. He will put himself above every god. He will say things against the greatest God of all. Those things have never been heard before. He will have success until God is not angry anymore. What God has decided to do must take place.

“ And the king shall do as he wills. He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak astonishing things against the God of gods. He shall prosper till the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done.

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

For the LORD your God[ is] God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.

And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty[ and] two months.And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth[ it is], that your God[ is] a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.

O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy[ endureth] for ever.

For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.

And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end[ shall be].

I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither[ was there any] that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.

Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.

So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

But he[ is] in one[ mind], and who can turn him? and[ what] his soul desireth, even[ that] he doeth.For he performeth[ the thing that is] appointed for me: and many such[ things are] with him.

And from the time[ that] the daily[ sacrifice] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up,[ there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days.Blessed[ is] he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.But go thou thy way till the end[ be]: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn[ were] eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof[ shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make[ it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

And I heard the man clothed in linen, which[ was] upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that[ it shall be] for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these[ things] shall be finished.

For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify[ himself] in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

And all the inhabitants of the earth[ are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and[ among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?

The LORD God of gods, the LORD God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know; if[ it be] in rebellion, or if in transgression against the LORD,( save us not this day,)

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times[ the things] that are not[ yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty[ and] two months.And I will give[ power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred[ and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

And of the ten horns that[ were] in his head, and[ of] the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even[ of] that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look[ was] more stout than his fellows.I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.And the ten horns out of this kingdom[ are] ten kings[ that] shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.And he shall speak[ great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

[ There are] many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

Yea, he magnified[ himself] even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily[ sacrifice] was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.And an host was given[ him] against the daily[ sacrifice] by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
