Then one who looked like a man touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and began to speak. I said to the one standing before me,“ I am overcome with anguish because of the vision, my lord, and I feel very weak.

And suddenly, one having the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips; then I opened my mouth and spoke, saying to him who stood before me,“ My Lord, because of the vision my sorrows have overwhelmed me, and I have retained no strength.

And, behold, one in the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by reason of the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I retain no strength.

Then one who appeared to be a human being was touching my lips. I opened my mouth and started to speak, saying to the one who was standing before me,“ Sir, due to the vision, anxiety has gripped me and I have no strength.

Behold, one in the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth, and spoke and said to him who stood before me,“ My lord, by reason of the vision my sorrows have overtaken me, and I retain no strength.

他用炭沾我的口，說：“看哪！這炭沾了你的嘴唇，你的罪孽就除掉，你的罪惡就赦免了。”

我但以理看見了這異象以後，就想明白它的意義；忽然有一位外貌像人的，站在我面前。

於是耶和華伸手按著我的口，對我說：“看哪！我把我的話放在你口中。

“至於我但以理，我的靈在我裡面憂傷，我腦海中出現的異象使我驚惶。

我但以理精疲力竭，病了幾天，後來我起來，辦理王的事務，但我仍因這異象驚駭不已，不明白它的意思。

這事到此完畢。我但以理心中十分驚惶，臉色也變了，但我把這事存放在心裡。”

他就來到我所站的地方；他來到的時候，我就害怕，臉伏在地；他對我說：“人子啊，你要明白！這異象是關於末後的時期的。”

燈臺中間有一位好像人子的，身上穿著直垂到腳的長衣，胸間束著金帶。

反而倒空自己，取了奴僕的形象，成為人的樣式；既然有人的樣子，就自甘卑微，順服至死，而且死在十字架上。

在牠們頭頂的穹蒼上面，有寶座的形狀，好像藍寶石的樣子。在寶座的形象上面，有一個樣子像人的形象。

多馬對他說：“我的主！我的神！”

但我對你說話的時候，我必開你的口，你就要對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣說。’肯聽的就讓他聽，不肯聽的，就由他不聽吧，因為他們是叛逆的民族。”

摩西說：“主啊，請你差派你願意差派的人。”

我舉目觀看，看見有一個人身穿細麻衣，腰束烏法純金的帶。他的身像水蒼玉，面貌像閃電的樣子，眼睛像火把，手臂和腿像擦亮的銅那麼閃耀，說話的聲音像群眾喊叫的聲音。

那人來到的前一天晚上，耶和華的手按在我身上，開了我的口。到了早晨，那人來到我這裡，我的口已經開了，不再作啞巴。

撒迦利亞的口舌立刻開了，就出聲稱頌神。

因為多有智慧，就多有煩惱；加增知識，就加增痛苦。

瑪挪亞就懇求耶和華，說：“啊，主啊，求你叫你派來的神人再到我們這裡吧！好指教我們要怎樣對待將要生下來的孩子。”

基甸對他說：“唉，我主啊，我憑著甚麼拯救以色列人呢？看哪，我的家族在瑪拿西支派中是最卑微的，我在我的父家是最年輕的。”

基甸回答他，說：“唉，我的主，如果耶和華與我們同在，我們怎會遭遇這一切事呢？我們的列祖向我們講述的，耶和華的一切奇事在哪裡呢？他們曾說：‘耶和華不是把我們從埃及領上來嗎？’現在他卻拋棄了我們，把我們交在米甸人手中！”

我聽見，卻不明白，我就問：“我主啊，這些事的結局是怎樣呢？”

那人回答：“不是的；我現在來是作耶和華軍隊的元帥。”約書亞就臉伏在地，向他下拜，對他說：“我主有甚麼事要吩咐僕人呢？”

我主的僕人怎能和我主說話呢？我現在全身無力，沒有氣息。”那位像人的再摸我，使我有力量。

我還在禱告說話的時候，我先前在異象中所見的那位樣貌像人的加百列，約在獻晚祭的時候，快速地飛（“快速地飛”原文意思難確定，或譯：“在精疲力竭時”）到我面前來。

因此，只有我一人留下來；我看見了這大異象，就全身無力，臉色大變，一點力氣都沒有。我卻仍聽見他說話的聲音；我一聽見他說話的聲音，就沉睡了，臉伏在地。忽然有一隻手按在我身上，使我用膝和手掌勉強支持著要站起來。

因為我必賜給你們口才、智慧，是你們所有的敵人不能抵抗，也不能駁倒的。

摩西對耶和華說：“主啊，我不是個會說話的人；以前不是，自從你對僕人說話以後也不是；因為我本是拙口笨舌的。”
