But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.

「末後的時期，守護你子民的偉大護衛天使米迦勒必站出來；並且會有一段患難的時期，自從有國家以來直到那時候未曾有過；末後的時期，你的子民中凡是被記在那冊子上的，都必得救。

即使是天使長米迦勒，當他與魔鬼爭辯，為摩西的屍體爭論的時候，也不敢用毀謗的話定它的罪，只說：「願主責備你！」

接著，天上發生了戰爭：米迦勒和他的天使們與龍交戰，龍和牠的使者們也應戰，

他就說：「你明白我為什麼到你這裡來嗎？現在我要回去與波斯的護衛天使爭戰，我一離去，看哪，希臘的護衛天使就會來！不過，我會把真理之書上所記載的告訴你。除了你們的護衛天使米迦勒以外，沒有一個支持我抵擋他們。

耶穌基督已經升天，就在神的右邊，天使們、掌權的、有勢力的，都服從了他。

你們在他裡面已經得以滿足，他是一切統治者和掌權者的元首；

因為我們不是與血肉之體搏鬥，而是與那些統治的、掌權的、管轄這黑暗世界的，以及天上邪惡的屬靈勢力搏鬥。

所以我們想要到你們那裡去。我保羅確實一再地要去，只是撒旦攔阻了我們。

耶和華又讓我看見大祭司約書亞站在耶和華的使者面前，而撒旦站在約書亞右邊要控告約書亞。耶和華對撒旦說：「撒旦哪，耶和華斥責你！揀選耶路撒冷的耶和華斥責你！這人難道不是從火中得解救的一根燃燒的木柴嗎？」
