Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

他就说：“但以理啊，不要惧怕！因为从你第一日专心求明白将来的事，又在你神面前刻苦己心，你的言语已蒙应允；我是因你的言语而来。

他说：“但以理啊，不要惧怕！因为自从第一日你立志要明白，又在你上帝面前刻苦自己，你的话已蒙应允；我就是因你的话而来。

他说：“但以理啊，不要惧怕！因为自从第一日你立志要明白，又在你神面前刻苦自己，你的话已蒙应允；我就是因你的话而来。

他说：“但以理啊，不要怕，从你在上帝面前谦卑地恳求明白这异象的第一天，你的祷告已蒙垂听。我是来答复你的。

他又对我说：“但以理啊！不要惧怕，因为自从你第一天决心要明白这些事，又在你的神面前谦卑自己，你祷告的话已蒙垂听了；我就是因你祷告的话而来的。

他又对我说：“但以理啊！你不要害怕，因为自从你用心领悟这事、在你的神面前谦卑的第一天起，你的祷告就蒙垂听了；我是因你的祷告而来的。

他就說：「但以理啊，不要懼怕！因為從你第一日專心求明白將來的事，又在你神面前刻苦己心，你的言語已蒙應允；我是因你的言語而來。

他又對我說：“但以理啊！不要懼怕，因為自從你第一天決心要明白這些事，又在你的神面前謙卑自己，你禱告的話已蒙垂聽了；我就是因你禱告的話而來的。

他就對我說：『但以理啊，你不要懼怕，因為從你用心求明白這些事、又在你的上帝面前刻苦自己那頭一天起，你禱告的話就蒙應允；我就是因你的話而來的。

他又對我說：「但以理啊！你不要害怕，因為自從你用心領悟這事、在你的神面前謙卑的第一天起，你的禱告就蒙垂聽了；我是因你的禱告而來的。

又謂我曰、但以理歟、勿懼、自爾初日、決志欲明斯事、自卑於爾上帝前、爾言升聞矣、我因爾言而至、

彼告我曰、但以理勿懼、自爾詣上帝前、卑以自牧、欲留心知未來事、上帝聽爾所祈、遣我就爾、

又告我曰、但以理、勿懼、自初日爾專心求明、於爾天主前刻以自苦、爾言升聞於上、我因爾之禱言、奉遣而來、

Then he continued,“ Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.

He continued,“ Do not be afraid, Daniel. You decided to get more understanding. You made yourself humble as you worshiped your God. Since the first day you did those things, your words were heard. I have come to give you an answer.

Then he said to me,“ Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words.

Then he said,“ Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.

“ Don’t be afraid, Daniel,” he said to me,“ for from the first day that you purposed to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your prayers were heard. I have come because of your prayers.

Then he said to me,“ Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words.

Then he said to me,“ Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel; for from the first day that thou didst set thy heart to understand, and to humble thyself before thy God, thy words were heard: and I am come for thy words’ sake.

“ Don’t be afraid, Daniel,” he said to me,“ for from the first day that you purposed to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your prayers were heard. I have come because of your prayers.

Then he said to me,“ Don’t be afraid, Daniel, for from the very first day you applied your mind to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. I have come in response to your words.

Then he said to me,“ Don’t be afraid, Daniel; for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard. I have come for your words’ sake.

And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.

And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace[ be] unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.

And whiles I[ was] speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God for the holy mountain of my God;Yea, whiles I[ was] speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.And he informed[ me], and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew[ thee]; for thou[ art] greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

Say to them[ that are] of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come[ with] vengeance,[ even] God[ with] a recompence; he will come and save you.

Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace:For I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city.

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

When I wept,[ and chastened] my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

Fear thou not; for I[ am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I[ am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

And[ this] shall be a statute for ever unto you:[ that] in the seventh month, on the tenth[ day] of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all,[ whether it be] one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:

And ye shall have on the tenth[ day] of this seventh month an holy convocation; and ye shall afflict your souls: ye shall not do any work[ therein]:

And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.

He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.And now send men to Joppa, and call for[ one] Simon, whose surname is Peter:

Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I[ am]. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;

And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

It[ shall be] a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.

And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Fear not, thou worm Jacob,[ and] ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
