And the Lord delivered Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the articles from the temple of God. These he carried off to the temple of his god in Babylonia and put in the treasure house of his god.

The Lord handed Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, over to him. Nebuchadnezzar also took some of the objects from God’s temple. He carried them off to the temple of his god in Babylon. He put them among the treasures of his god.

And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with some of the vessels of the house of God. And he brought them to the land of Shinar, to the house of his god, and placed the vessels in the treasury of his god.

The Lord gave him victory over King Jehoiakim of Judah and permitted him to take some of the sacred objects from the Temple of God. So Nebuchadnezzar took them back to the land of Babylonia and placed them in the treasure house of his god.

「耶和華要使一國從遙遠的地極興起，他們要如鷹飛來襲擊你們。你們不懂他們的語言。他們面目猙獰，不尊重年老的，也不憐憫年少的。他們要吃光你們的牛羊、五穀、新酒和油，直到消滅你們。在你們的上帝耶和華所賜給你們的土地上，他們要把你們圍困在各個城邑中，直到你們所依賴的高大堅固的城牆都倒塌。

人們向東遷移時，在示拿地區找到一處平原，定居下來。

他首先在示拿地區的巴別、以力、亞甲、甲尼各地建國，

王暢飲的時候，命人將先王尼布甲尼撒從耶路撒冷聖殿中擄來的金銀器皿拿來，供他與大臣、王后和妃嬪用來飲酒。於是，他們把從耶路撒冷上帝殿中擄來的金器拿來，王與大臣、王后和妃嬪便用這些器皿飲酒。

就割下了掃羅的頭顱，剝下他的盔甲，並派人走遍非利士全境，在他們偶像的廟裡及民眾中通告消息。非利士人把掃羅的盔甲放在亞斯她錄神廟裡，把他的屍體釘在伯·珊城牆上。

使他們落在列邦的手中，受敵人的轄制。他們的敵人壓迫他們，奴役他們。

王啊，你是萬王之王，天上的上帝已將國度、權柄、能力和尊榮賜給你，也將居住在各地的世人、走獸和飛禽都交在你手中，讓你管理。你就是那金頭。

王啊，至高的上帝曾將國位、權力、尊榮、威嚴賜給你的先王尼布甲尼撒，

迦勒底人向漁網獻祭，向漁網燒香，因為他們靠漁網而富裕，食物充足。

到那日，主必再次伸手從亞述、埃及、巴特羅、古實、以攔、示拿、哈馬和眾海島救回祂剩餘的子民。
