Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when he appears, we will be like him because we will see him as he is.

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by God’s will, for the sake of the promise of life in Christ Jesus:

You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me up in glory.

so that you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

But I will see your face in righteousness; when I awake, I will be satisfied with your presence.

You killed the source of life, whom God raised from the dead; we are witnesses of this.

This is the will of him who sent me: that I should lose none of those he has given me but should raise them up on the last day.For this is the will of my Father: that everyone who sees the Son and believes in him will have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”

Then we who are still alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

When he has swallowed up death once and for all, the Lord GOD will wipe away the tears from every face and remove his people’s disgrace from the whole earth, for the LORD has spoken.On that day it will be said,“ Look, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he has saved us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him. Let’s rejoice and be glad in his salvation.”

If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, so that where I am you may be also.
