即爾等之領受割禮、亦在基督之中：惟斯割禮非以人手為之、乃克己去欲之基督割禮也。

In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ,

然而，在内心做犹太人的才是犹太人；同样，内心的割礼才是割礼——不是靠着律法条文而是靠着圣灵；这样的人得到的称赞不是从人来的，而是从神来的。

实际上，我们才是受过割礼的人，就是藉着神的灵事奉，在基督耶稣里夸耀，不依靠肉体的人。

我们知道，我们的旧我已经和基督一起被钉十字架，好让罪的身体被废除，使我们不再做罪的奴仆，

那些属于基督耶稣的人，已经把肉体与肉体的渴望和情欲一同钉上十字架了。

为了你们脱去在过去行为上的旧人。这旧人顺着迷惑人的私欲受败坏，

因为基督不是进入了人手所造的圣所——那不过是真圣所的象征——而是进入了上天本身，如今替我们显现在神的面前。

因此，如果有人在基督里，他就是新造的人；旧的已经过去，看哪，新的已经来临。

所以现在活着的不再是我，而是基督在我里面活着；并且如今我在肉体中活着，是因信神的儿子而活；他爱我，甚至为我舍弃了自己。

但如今，你们也要脱去一切暴怒、愤恨、恶毒、毁谤，以及从你们口中所出的污秽的话；不要彼此说谎，因你们已经脱去了旧人和旧人的所作所为，

不过基督已经来到，做了那些已经发生的美善之事的大祭司，经过了那更大、更完美的会幕。那会幕不是人手所造的；就是说，不属于这被造的世界。

实际上，我们是神的创作，是为了美善的工作在基督耶稣里被造成的；神早已预备好了美善工作，要我们在其中行事。所以你们当记住：从前，你们照着肉体说是外邦人，被那些所谓“受割礼的”称为“没受割礼的”；割礼是人手在肉体上所行的。那时候，你们与基督无关；被排除在以色列国民之外；在那些所应许的诸约上是外人；在这世界上没有盼望、没有神。但如今，在基督耶稣里，你们这些从前在远处的人，藉着基督的血，已经被带到近处了。因为他自己是我们的和平，他使两者合而为一，废除了那隔在中间仇恨的墙；以自己的身体，废除了谕令中诫命的律法，为了把两者在他自己里面造成一个新人，缔造和平。他在十字架上既然消除了仇恨，就藉着十字架使两者得以在一个身体里，与神和好；并且来传和平的福音给你们在远处的人，也给那些在近处的人。因为藉着基督，我们两者能够在同一位圣灵里，来到父面前。

造了宇宙和其中万有的神，这一位既然是天地的主，就不住在人手所造的殿宇里，

我们知道，当我们属地的家——这帐篷被拆毁的时候，我们就有从神而来的殿宇，不是人手所造的，而是在天上的永恒的家。

但是等到时候一满足，神就派遣他的儿子，由女人所生，生在律法之下，为要救赎律法之下的人，好使我们得到儿子的名份。

满了八天，为孩子行割礼的时候，他们就给他起名叫耶稣。这名字是他在母腹成胎以前天使所起的。

其实至高者并不住在人手所造的殿宇里，正如先知所说：

“我们听他说过‘我要拆毁这座人手所造的圣所，三天内另建一座不是人手所造的。’”
