For this reason we also, from the day we heard about you, have not ceased praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

是以我儕自聞之之時、為爾祈禱不已、求主俾爾得諸睿智靈慧、盡知其旨、

吾人逖聽之餘、即不輟為爾祈求、賜爾靈慧妙識、俾能切身體認天主弘旨、臻於圓融洞澈之地；

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,

That’s why we have not stopped praying for you. We have been praying for you since the day we heard about you. We keep asking God to fill you with the knowledge of what he wants. We pray he will give you the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.

For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, accommodating, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial, and not hypocritical.

Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunities.

But if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him.

And I pray this, that your love may abound even more and more in knowledge and every kind of insightso that you can decide what is best, and thus be sincere and blameless for the day of Christ,filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.

For God wants you to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good.

equip you with every good thing to do his will, working in us what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,I do not cease to give thanks for you when I remember you in my prayers.I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you spiritual wisdom and revelation in your growing knowledge of him,– since the eyes of your heart have been enlightened– so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints,and what is the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, as displayed in the exercise of his immense strength.This power he exercised in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms

As far as I am concerned, far be it from me to sin against the LORD by ceasing to pray for you! I will instruct you in the way that is good and upright.
