We remember you when we pray to our God and Father. Your work is produced by your faith. Your service is the result of your love. Your strength to continue comes from your hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

That’s because I hear about your love for all God’s people. I also hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus.

So we know that God loves us. We depend on it. God is love. Anyone who leads a life of love is joined to God. And God is joined to them.

Circumcision and uncircumcision aren’t worth anything to those who believe in Christ Jesus. The only thing that really counts is faith that shows itself through love.

But Timothy has just now come to us from you and has brought good news about your faith and love. He has told us that you always have pleasant memories of us and that you long to see us, just as we also long to see you. (niv)

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. (niv)
