因為、你看、日子必到，永恆主發神諭說，我必恢復我人民以色列和猶大的故業，永恆主說，我必使他們返回我所賜給他們列祖之地，他們就得這地以為業。』

他們必在這地安然居住，建造房屋，栽種葡萄園。我向其四圍一切輕蔑他們、的人施行判罰以後，他們便得以安然居住；人就知道我乃是永恆主他們的上帝。

哦，巴不得有拯救以色列的恩從錫安而出哦！那時上帝就恢復他子民的故業；那時雅各必快樂，以色列必歡喜。

我先前怎樣儆醒察看他們、而拔除、而拆毁、而傾覆、而毁滅、而降災，我將來也必怎樣儆醒察看他們、而建立、而栽植：這是永恆主發神諭說的。

『因為你看，當那些日子、那時候、我使猶大和耶路撒冷恢復故業之時，我必招集列國的人，帶他們下約沙法谷，在那裏判罰他們，是為了我人民我的產業以色列，就是列國人所給分散於列國中，又分取了我的地土的。

『看吧，日子必到，永恆主發神諭說，這城必給永恆主重建起來，從哈楠業譙樓直到角門。測量的準繩還要往外量出、直到迦立山，又轉到歌亞。拋屍山谷全部、和倒灰之處、以及一切田園，直到汲淪谿谷，延到東邊馬門的拐角——都必歸永恆主為聖，永遠不再被拔毁，不再傾覆。』

永恆主指着自己的右手和他大力的膀臂來起誓說：『我必不再將你的五穀給你的仇敵做食物，外族人必不再喝你勞碌得來的新酒；惟有那收穫的得以喫，並頌讚永恆主；那收集的得以喝，就在我聖所的院子裏。』

他們必住在我賜給我僕人雅各的地，就是你們列祖所住之地；他們和他們的子孫、以及他們子孫的子孫、直住到永遠；我的僕人大衛必永遠做他們的人君。我必給他們立個平安興隆之約，這必做永遠之約、跟他們立的；我必施恩眷顧他們，使他們人數增多，又在他們中間施恩設立我的聖所到永遠。我的居所必在他們上面；我要做他們的上帝，他們要做我的子民。我的聖所在他們中間到永遠，列國就知道我乃是永恆主，使以色列成聖別的。』

『我必恢復她們的故業，所多瑪和她女兒們的故業，撒瑪利亞和她女兒們的故業；我必恢復她們中間你的故業，

萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝這麼說：『我恢復他們的故業時，在猶大地和它的城市裏人必再說以下這樣的話：「公義的莊舍啊，聖山哪，願永恆主賜福與你！」

『主永恆主這麼說；我潔淨你們、除掉你們一切罪孽的日子，就要使你們的城市有人居住，使荒廢之處重建起來。在所有過路之人眼中看來、這地雖然荒涼，但這荒涼之地必仍得耕種。人們必說：「這先前荒涼之地、如今已像伊甸園了；這些荒廢淒涼毁壞的城市、如今已有堡壘、有人居住了。」那時在你們四圍的其餘外國人就知道是我永恆主修造了這些毁壞之處，栽植了這些荒涼之地：我永恆主說了，我必作成。

『因此主永恆主這麼說：如今我要恢復雅各的故業；我要憐憫以色列全家，又為我的聖名發熱心。

他們的資財必成為掠物，他們的房屋必變成了荒場；他們必建造房屋，卻不得居住，必栽種葡萄園，卻不得喝所出的酒。』

因你們踐踏貧民，向他們勒索麥子，故此你們雖用雕鑿的石頭建造了房屋，卻不得住在裏面；你們雖栽種了可喜愛的葡萄園，卻不得喝其酒。
