“ In that day,” declares the Sovereign Lord,“ the songs in the temple will turn to wailing. Many, many bodies— flung everywhere! Silence!”

“ The time is coming when the songs in the temple will turn to weeping,” announces the Lord and King.“ Many, many bodies will be thrown everywhere! So be quiet!”

The songs of the temple shall become wailings in that day,” declares the Lord God.“ So many dead bodies!”“ They are thrown everywhere!”“ Silence!”

In that day the singing in the temple will turn to wailing. Dead bodies will be scattered everywhere. They will be carried out of the city in silence. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!”

In that day the temple songs will become wailing”— this is the Lord GOD’s declaration.“ Many dead bodies, thrown everywhere! Silence!”

The songs of the palace will turn to wailing on that day,” declares the Lord God.“ The corpses will be many; in every place they will throw them out. Hush!”

撤去你們嘈雜的歌聲吧，我不想聽到你們的琴音。

因為死亡從窗戶爬進我們的城堡，吞滅街上的孩童和廣場上的青年。耶和華說：「人們必屍橫遍野，像散佈在田野上的糞便，又像收割者身後沒有收集的禾捆。」

我要使你們的節期變為喪禮，叫你們的歡歌變為哀歌。我要使你們都腰束麻布，剃光頭髮；我要使你們傷心欲絕，如喪獨生子；我要使那日成為痛苦的日子。」

因此，主——萬軍之上帝耶和華說：「哀號之聲要響遍各廣場，哭喊之聲將充滿大街小巷。農夫被叫來哭泣，哭喪者被召來哀號。

黎巴嫩啊，打開你的門吧，好讓火焰吞噬你的香柏樹。松樹啊，哀號吧，因為香柏樹已經倒下，挺拔的樹木已被毀壞。巴珊的橡樹啊，哀號吧，因為茂密的樹林已被砍倒。聽啊，牧人在哀號，因為他們肥美的草場已被毀壞。聽啊，獅子在吼叫，因為約旦河畔的叢林已被毀壞。

醉漢啊，醒過來哭泣吧！貪杯的人啊，哀號吧！你們再無美酒可飲了。

於是，耶和華的天使到亞述營中殺了十八萬五千人。人們清早起來，發現到處是屍體。

撒瑪利亞的居民要因伯·亞文的牛犢偶像而恐懼顫抖；祭拜它的人要哀傷，供奉它的祭司要痛哭，因為它的榮耀將離開他們。它要被帶到亞述去，作為貢物獻給強大的亞述王。以法蓮因此而受人嘲笑，以色列因自己的偶像而蒙羞。

農夫啊，你們要憂傷！照料葡萄園的人啊，你們要哀號！因為田間的大麥和小麥全毀了。

祭司啊，穿著喪服痛哭吧；在祭壇前事奉的人啊，要哀號；我上帝的僕人啊，要披上麻衣過夜；因為再無素祭和奠祭獻到你們上帝的殿中了。

「我在你們中間降下瘟疫，如從前降在埃及一樣。我殺戮你們的青年，擄掠你們的戰馬，使你們軍營中的死屍臭味撲鼻。儘管如此，你們仍不歸向我。這是耶和華說的。

因此，論到猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬，耶和華說：「沒有人會為他哀悼說，『唉，我的弟兄啊！唉，我的姊妹啊！』沒有人會為他哀悼說，『唉，主人啊！唉，他的尊榮！』

騎士衝鋒，刀光閃閃，矛槍生輝；被殺者眾多，屍骨成堆，人們被遍地的屍體絆倒。

摩西告訴亞倫：「耶和華曾說過，『我要在事奉我的人中顯明我的聖潔，在所有子民面前彰顯我的榮耀。』」亞倫默默無言。

我默然不語，一言不發，因為我受的責罰是出於你。
