猶大王亞撒利雅三十八年、耶羅波安子撒迦利雅、在撒瑪利亞為以色列王、僅歷六月、行耶和華所惡、效其列祖所為、不離棄尼八子耶羅波安陷以色列人之罪、雅比子沙龍叛之、弒之於民前、而篡其位、

以色列攜凡所有啟行、至別是巴、獻祭於父以撒之上帝、

勿尋伯特利、勿入吉甲、勿往別是巴、蓋吉甲必被虜掠、伯特利必為虛無、

我罰以色列罪愆之日、亦必罰伯特利之壇、斫其壇角、俾墜於地、

凡指撒瑪利亞之罪而誓者曰、但乎、我指爾維生之神而誓、或曰、我指別是巴之生途而誓、其人必顚覆、永不復興、

爾之聖民得業未久、我敵蹂躪聖所、

我亦毀爾崇邱、斫爾日像、以爾尸骸、擲於偶像之上、我心必厭惡爾、俾爾邑垣荒墟、聖所寂寞、不享爾馨香、
