The Sovereign Lord showed me a vision. I saw him preparing to send a vast swarm of locusts over the land. This was after the king’s share had been harvested from the fields and as the main crop was coming up.

主耶和华指示我一件事：为王割菜之后，菜又发生；刚发生的时候，主造蝗虫。

主耶和华指示我一件事，在春天作物刚长出时，看哪，主造了蝗虫；看哪，这是王收割后长出的春天作物。

以下是主耶和华让我看见的异象：看啊，祂造了一大群蝗虫。那时，王室的作物已经收割，第二季作物刚开始发苗。

主永恆主這樣使我看見：看哪，在替王刈割了之後、就有了再生植物；看哪，在再生植物剛長起來之初，永恆主正在使蝗蟲形成呢。

主耶和華示我一事、為王刈草之後、草復萌蘖、是時彼造蝗蟲、

民間蒭蕘、為王所刈、後復萌糵、斯時也、主耶和華以一事示予、草甫萌芽、而蝗蟲生、主使之然、

主天主以一事示我於異象中、人為王刈草之後、草又萌芽、草始萌芽、主使蝗至、

This is what the Sovereign Lord showed me: He was preparing swarms of locusts after the king’s share had been harvested and just as the late crops were coming up.

The Lord and King gave me a vision. He was bringing large numbers of locusts on the land. The king’s share had already been harvested. Now the later crops were coming up.

This is what the Lord God showed me: behold, he was forming locusts when the latter growth was just beginning to sprout, and behold, it was the latter growth after the king’s mowings.

The Lord GOD showed me this: He was forming a swarm of locusts at the time the spring crop first began to sprout— after the cutting of the king’s hay.

This is what the Lord God showed me, and behold, He was forming a swarm of locusts when the spring crop began to sprout. And behold, the spring crop was after the king’s mowing.

Thus the Lord GOD showed me: Behold, He formed locust swarms at the beginning of the late crop; indeed it was the late crop after the king’s mowings.

Thus the Lord Jehovah showed me: and, behold, he formed locusts in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king’s mowings.

The Lord God showed me this: He was forming a swarm of locusts at the time the spring crop first began to sprout— after the cutting of the king’s hay.

Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo,[ it was] the latter growth after the king’s mowings.

The sovereign LORD showed me this: I saw him making locusts just as the crops planted late were beginning to sprout.( The crops planted late sprout after the royal harvest.)

Thus the Lord Yahweh showed me: and behold, he formed locusts in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and behold, it was the latter growth after the king’s harvest.

After the cutting locusts finished eating the crops, the swarming locusts took what was left! After them came the hopping locusts, and then the stripping locusts, too!

Then the Sovereign Lord showed me another vision. In it I saw a basket filled with ripe fruit.

“ I struck your farms and vineyards with blight and mildew. Locusts devoured all your fig and olive trees. But still you would not return to me,” says the Lord.

Then the Lord said to me,“ Look, Jeremiah! What do you see?” And I replied,“ I see a branch from an almond tree.”And the Lord said,“ That’s right, and it means that I am watching, and I will certainly carry out all my plans.”Then the Lord spoke to me again and asked,“ What do you see now?” And I replied,“ I see a pot of boiling water, spilling from the north.”“ Yes,” the Lord said,“ for terror from the north will boil out on the people of this land.Listen! I am calling the armies of the kingdoms of the north to come to Jerusalem. I, the Lord, have spoken!“ They will set their thrones at the gates of the city. They will attack its walls and all the other towns of Judah.I will pronounce judgment on my people for all their evil— for deserting me and burning incense to other gods. Yes, they worship idols made with their own hands!

After King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon exiled Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, to Babylon along with the officials of Judah and all the craftsmen and artisans, the Lord gave me this vision. I saw two baskets of figs placed in front of the Lord’s Temple in Jerusalem.

But the fire will devour you; the sword will cut you down. The enemy will consume you like locusts, devouring everything they see. There will be no escape, even if you multiply like swarming locusts.Your merchants have multiplied until they outnumber the stars. But like a swarm of locusts, they strip the land and fly away.Your guards and officials are also like swarming locusts that crowd together in the hedges on a cold day. But like locusts that fly away when the sun comes up, all of them will fly away and disappear.

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Raise your hand over the land of Egypt to bring on the locusts. Let them cover the land and devour every plant that survived the hailstorm.”So Moses raised his staff over Egypt, and the Lord caused an east wind to blow over the land all that day and through the night. When morning arrived, the east wind had brought the locusts.And the locusts swarmed over the whole land of Egypt, settling in dense swarms from one end of the country to the other. It was the worst locust plague in Egyptian history, and there has never been another one like it.For the locusts covered the whole country and darkened the land. They devoured every plant in the fields and all the fruit on the trees that had survived the hailstorm. Not a single leaf was left on the trees and plants throughout the land of Egypt.Pharaoh quickly summoned Moses and Aaron.“ I have sinned against the Lord your God and against you,” he confessed.

Then the Lord showed me four blacksmiths.

Just as caterpillars and locusts strip the fields and vines, so the fallen army of Assyria will be stripped!

The Lord says,“ I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I who sent this great destroying army against you.

Then the Sovereign Lord showed me another vision. I saw him preparing to punish his people with a great fire. The fire had burned up the depths of the sea and was devouring the entire land.

And I told the exiles everything the Lord had shown me.

Then he showed me another vision. I saw the Lord standing beside a wall that had been built using a plumb line. He was using a plumb line to see if it was still straight.
