The sovereign LORD showed me this: I saw him making locusts just as the crops planted late were beginning to sprout.( The crops planted late sprout after the royal harvest.)

主耶和华指示我一件事：为王割菜之后，菜又发生；刚发生的时候，主造蝗虫。

主耶和华指示我一件事，在春天作物刚长出时，看哪，主造了蝗虫；看哪，这是王收割后长出的春天作物。

主永恆主這樣使我看見：看哪，在替王刈割了之後、就有了再生植物；看哪，在再生植物剛長起來之初，永恆主正在使蝗蟲形成呢。

主耶和華示我一事、為王刈草之後、草復萌蘖、是時彼造蝗蟲、

民間蒭蕘、為王所刈、後復萌糵、斯時也、主耶和華以一事示予、草甫萌芽、而蝗蟲生、主使之然、

主天主以一事示我於異象中、人為王刈草之後、草又萌芽、草始萌芽、主使蝗至、

This is what the Sovereign Lord showed me: He was preparing swarms of locusts after the king’s share had been harvested and just as the late crops were coming up.

The Lord and King gave me a vision. He was bringing large numbers of locusts on the land. The king’s share had already been harvested. Now the later crops were coming up.

This is what the Lord God showed me: behold, he was forming locusts when the latter growth was just beginning to sprout, and behold, it was the latter growth after the king’s mowings.

The Sovereign Lord showed me a vision. I saw him preparing to send a vast swarm of locusts over the land. This was after the king’s share had been harvested from the fields and as the main crop was coming up.

The Lord GOD showed me this: He was forming a swarm of locusts at the time the spring crop first began to sprout— after the cutting of the king’s hay.

This is what the Lord God showed me, and behold, He was forming a swarm of locusts when the spring crop began to sprout. And behold, the spring crop was after the king’s mowing.

Thus the Lord GOD showed me: Behold, He formed locust swarms at the beginning of the late crop; indeed it was the late crop after the king’s mowings.

Thus the Lord Jehovah showed me: and, behold, he formed locusts in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king’s mowings.

The Lord God showed me this: He was forming a swarm of locusts at the time the spring crop first began to sprout— after the cutting of the king’s hay.

Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo,[ it was] the latter growth after the king’s mowings.

Thus the Lord Yahweh showed me: and behold, he formed locusts in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and behold, it was the latter growth after the king’s harvest.

What the gazam-locust left the‘ arbeh-locust consumed, what the‘ arbeh-locust left the yeleq-locust consumed, and what the yeleq-locust left the hasil-locust consumed!

The sovereign LORD showed me this: I saw a basket of summer fruit.

“ I destroyed your crops with blight and disease. Locusts kept devouring your orchards, vineyards, fig trees, and olive trees. Still you did not come back to me.” The LORD is speaking!

Later the LORD asked me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” I answered,“ I see a branch of an almond tree.”Then the LORD said,“ You have observed correctly. This means I am watching to make sure my threats are carried out.”The LORD again asked me,“ What do you see?” I answered,“ I see a pot of boiling water; it is tipped toward us from the north.”Then the LORD said,“ This means destruction will break out from the north on all who live in the land.For I will soon summon all the peoples of the kingdoms of the north,” says the LORD.“ They will come and their kings will set up their thrones near the entrances of the gates of Jerusalem. They will attack all the walls surrounding it, and all the towns in Judah.In this way I will pass sentence on the people of Jerusalem and Judah because of all their wickedness. For they rejected me and offered sacrifices to other gods, worshiping what they made with their own hands.”

The LORD showed me two baskets of figs sitting before his temple. This happened after King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon deported Jehoiakim’s son, King Jeconiah of Judah. He deported him and the leaders of Judah, along with the craftsmen and metal workers, and took them to Babylon.

There the fire will consume you; the sword will cut you down; it will devour you like the young locust would. Multiply yourself like the young locust; multiply yourself like the flying locust!Increase your merchants more than the stars of heaven! They are like the young locust which sheds its skin and flies away.Your courtiers are like locusts, your officials are like a swarm of locusts! They encamp in the walls on a cold day, yet when the sun rises, they fly away; and no one knows where they are.

The LORD said to Moses,“ Extend your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up over the land of Egypt and eat everything that grows in the ground, everything that the hail has left.”So Moses extended his staff over the land of Egypt, and then the LORD brought an east wind on the land all that day and all night. The morning came, and the east wind had brought up the locusts!The locusts went up over all the land of Egypt and settled down in all the territory of Egypt. It was very severe; there had been no locusts like them before, nor will there be such ever again.They covered the surface of all the ground, so that the ground became dark with them, and they ate all the vegetation of the ground and all the fruit of the trees that the hail had left. Nothing green remained on the trees or on anything that grew in the fields throughout the whole land of Egypt.Then Pharaoh quickly summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ I have sinned against the LORD your God and against you!

Next the LORD showed me four blacksmiths.

Your plunder disappears as if locusts were eating it; they swarm over it like locusts!

I will make up for the years that the‘ arbeh-locust consumed your crops– the yeleq-locust, the hasil-locust, and the gazam-locust– my great army that I sent against you.

The sovereign LORD showed me this: I saw the sovereign LORD summoning a shower of fire. It consumed the great deep and devoured the fields.

So I told the exiles everything the LORD had shown me.

He showed me this: I saw the sovereign One standing by a tin wall holding tin in his hand.
