While he was eating, a woman came in with a beautiful alabaster jar of expensive perfume and poured it over his head.The disciples were indignant when they saw this.“ What a waste!” they said.“ It could have been sold for a high price and the money given to the poor.”

Don’t drink only water. You ought to drink a little wine for the sake of your stomach because you are sick so often.

In all history there has never been such a time of terror. It will be a time of trouble for my people Israel. Yet in the end they will be saved!

When the king of Assyria discovered this treachery, he seized Hoshea and put him in prison.Then the king of Assyria invaded the entire land, and for three years he besieged the city of Samaria.Finally, in the ninth year of King Hoshea’s reign, Samaria fell, and the people of Israel were exiled to Assyria. They were settled in colonies in Halah, along the banks of the Habor River in Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.

If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad.

Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.
