Go to Kalneh and look at it; go from there to great Hamath, and then go down to Gath in Philistia. Are they better off than your two kingdoms? Is their land larger than yours?

Go and look at the city of Kalneh. Go from there to the great city of Hamath. Then go down to Gath in Philistia. Are those places better off than your two kingdoms? Is their land larger than yours?

Pass over to Calneh, and see, and from there go to Hamath the great; then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are you better than these kingdoms? Or is their territory greater than your territory,

相語時、非利士之挑戰者、迦特人歌利亞、自其行伍出、語如前言、為大衛所聞、

亞述王自巴比倫、古他、亞瓦、哈馬、西法瓦音、移人置於撒瑪利亞之邑、以代以色列人、遂據撒瑪利亞、居其諸邑、

巴比倫人造疏割比訥像、古他人造匿甲像、哈馬人造亞示瑪像、

可往基提島而觀之、遣人至基達而詳察、有若斯之事否、諸國之神非神也、豈有易之者哉、惟我民以己之榮、易無益之物、

人子歟、當語埃及王法老、及其眾曰、爾之為大、孰可比擬、前者亞述王、為利巴嫩之香柏、枝柯繁美、其蔭濃密、其榦崇高、其杪入雲、

哈馬王、亞珥拔王、西法瓦音邑之王、希拿與以瓦王、均安在哉、

是時所羅門與以色列眾、自哈馬道、至埃及溪、集為大會、在我上帝耶和華前、同守節期、歷七日、復七日、共十四日、

我祖所滅之邦、若歌散、哈蘭、利色、及居提拉撒之伊甸族、彼之諸神、曾救之乎、哈馬王、亞珥拔王、西法瓦音邑之王、希拿王、以瓦王、均安在哉、
