你们炫耀自己征服了罗底巴，吹嘘凭自己的能力夺取了加宁。

你们以夺取罗底巴为夸耀，说：“我们夺取加宁不是靠自己的力量吗？”

你們喜愛虛浮的事，自誇說：我們不是憑自己的力量取了角嗎？

你們這些喜愛羅‧底巴的，自誇說：「我們不是憑自己的力量攻佔了加寧嗎？」

你們這些喜愛羅‧底巴的，自誇說：「我們不是憑自己的力量攻佔了加寧嗎？」

你們炫耀自己征服了羅底巴，吹噓憑自己的能力奪取了加寧。

你們以奪取羅底巴為誇耀，說：“我們奪取加寧不是靠自己的力量嗎？”

虛無是喜、乃曰我儕之角、非以己力而得乎、

爾以虛浮之事、妄自誇詡、自謂力猛、足以勝人、

爾以虛浮為悅、妄自誇詡、自謂恃強得勢、恃強得勢原文作以己力取角

You who rejoice in Lodebar, And say,“ Have we not by our own strength taken Karnaim for ourselves?”

ye that rejoice in a thing of nought, that say, Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength?

you who rejoice over Lo-debar and say,“ Didn’t we capture Karnaim for ourselves by our own strength?”

Ye which rejoice in a thing of nought, which say, Have we not taken to us horns by our own strength?

You are happy because you conquered Lo-Debar. You say,“ Did we not conquer Karnaim by our own power?”

you who rejoice in a thing of nothing, who say,‘ Haven’t we taken for ourselves horns by our own strength?’

And I will say to my soul,“ Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.”’But God said to him,‘ Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’
