Do horses run on the rocky crags? Does one plow the sea with oxen? But you have turned justice into poison and the fruit of righteousness into bitterness—

Horses don’t run on rocky ground. People don’t plow the sea with oxen. But you have turned fair treatment into poison. You have turned the fruit of right living into bitterness.

Do horses run on rocks? Does one plow there with oxen? But you have turned justice into poison and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood—

Can horses gallop over boulders? Can oxen be used to plow them? But that’s how foolish you are when you turn justice into poison and the sweet fruit of righteousness into bitterness.

Do horses gallop on the cliffs? Does anyone plow there with oxen? Yet you have turned justice into poison and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood—

你们这使公平变为茵陈，将公义丢弃于地的人哪！

所以，因你们践踏贫寒人，向他们勒索粮税；你们虽建造石凿的房屋，却不得住在其内；虽栽植美好的葡萄园，却不得喝其中所出的酒。我知道你们的罪过何其多，你们的罪恶何其大；你们迫害义人，收受贿赂，在城门口屈枉贫穷人。

他们讲空话，以假誓立约；因此，惩罚如苦菜滋生在田间的犁沟中。

就是悖逆，否认耶和华，转去不跟从我们的上帝，口说欺压和叛逆的话，心怀谎言，随即说出；公平转而退后，公义站在远处，诚实仆倒在广场上，正直不得进入；

耶洗别王后对王说：“你现在是不是治理以色列国呢？只管起来，心里畅畅快快地吃饭，我会把耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园给你。”于是王后以亚哈的名义写信，盖上王的印，把信送给那些与拿伯同城居住的长老和贵族。她在信上写着说：“你们当宣告禁食，叫拿伯坐在百姓的高位上，又叫两个无赖坐在拿伯对面，作证告他说：‘你诅咒了上帝和王。’然后把他拉出去用石头打死。”那些与拿伯同城居住的长老和贵族，照耶洗别送给他们的信去做。正如她送的信上所写，他们宣告禁食，叫拿伯坐在百姓的高位上。有两个无赖来，坐在拿伯对面。无赖当着百姓作证告他说：“拿伯诅咒上帝和王了！”众人就把他拉到城外，用石头打他，他就死了。

他们却不留意；耸肩悖逆，耳朵发沉，不肯听从。他们的心坚硬如金刚石，不听律法和万军之耶和华藉着他的灵差遣从前先知所说的话。因此，万军之耶和华大发烈怒。

你们耕种奸恶，收割罪孽，吃的是谎言的果实。因你倚靠自己的行为，仰赖你众多的勇士，

“你们这硬着颈项，心与耳未受割礼的人哪，时常抗拒圣灵！你们的祖宗怎样，你们也怎样。先知中有哪一个不是受你们祖宗的迫害呢？他们把预先宣告那义者要来的人杀了。如今你们成了那义者的出卖者和凶手了。

你为何使我看见罪孽？你为何坐视奸恶呢？毁灭和凶暴在我面前，争执与纷争不断发生。因此律法无效，公理从未彰显。恶人围困义人，所以公理遭受扭曲。

耶和华啊，你的眼目不是在寻找诚实吗？你击打他们，他们却不伤恸；你摧毁他们，他们仍不领受管教。他们使脸刚硬过于磐石，不肯回头。

那藉着律例玩弄奸恶、以权位肆行残害的，岂能与你交往呢？他们大家聚集攻击义人，将无辜的人定了死罪。

风箱吹火，铅被烧毁，炼而又炼，终是徒然，因为恶劣的还未除掉。人必称他们为被抛弃的银子，因为耶和华已经抛弃了他们。

他们双手善于作恶，君王和审判官都索取贿赂；位高的人吐出心中的欲望，彼此勾结。

因为我知道你是顽梗的；你的颈项是铁的，你的额头是铜的。
