以色列國雄長列邦、其中有名之人、為民所歸、然在郇邑、耽於逸樂、在撒馬利亞山、宴然居處、其禍必不遠矣、

Woe to you who are complacent in Zion, and to you who feel secure on Mount Samaria, you notable men of the foremost nation, to whom the people of Israel come!

How terrible it will be for you men who are so contented on Mount Zion! How terrible for you who feel secure on the hill of Samaria! You are famous men from the greatest nation. The people of Israel come to you for help and advice.

爾曹處世、奢侈宴樂、以快心志、乃如牲待屠宰之日也、或作爾在世奢侈宴樂如牲在屠宰之日尚快心志

爾安居之婦、當起而聽我言、無慮之女、傾耳聽我語、時越年餘、爾無慮者必戰慄、蓋無葡萄可摘、無禾稼禾稼或作果可收、爾安居者當戰慄、爾無慮者當恐惶、解衣裸體、束腰以麻、

心中自念曰、我之物產、無處可藏、將若何而行、又曰、我必如此行、毀我倉廩、別建其大者、以藏我百穀及所有、後將自謂我心心原文作靈曰、我心心原文作靈歟、今有多物、為多年之用、可安然飲食歡樂、惟天主謂之曰、愚者乎、今夜將索爾靈、則所備者歸於誰、

爾居撒瑪利亞山、若巴珊牝牛之婦、虐遇貧者、欺壓窮者、謂家主曰、攜酒予我飲、當聽斯言、或作爾曹居撒瑪利亞山肥若巴珊牝牛之婦當聽斯言爾曹虐遇貧者欺壓窮者謂家主曰攜金予我使我得飲

當是日我必以燈巡察耶路撒冷、其中有人安然無懼、若酒澄清、渣滓在底、若酒澄清渣滓在底或作若酒在渣滓上心中曰、主不降福、亦不降災、如是之人、我必懲罰、

今爾若聽從我言、遵守我約、普天下雖皆屬我、我必於萬國中、特選爾為我民、特選爾為我民或作以爾為寶亦在我前、為祭司之國、為成聖之民、爾當以斯言告以色列人、

爾當以一切所慮之事託於天主、天主必眷顧爾、

郇之罪人畏懼、邪惡之人、無人戰慄、曰、我儕中孰能當此猛火、當此永燃之烈焰、

有人曰、主之殿、主之殿、主之殿在此、可望不遭災、此言虛誕、爾勿信信或作恃之、

斯眾指撒瑪利亞獲罪所設之神而誓曰、但歟、爾所敬之神、我指其生而誓、別示巴所敬之神、我指其生而誓、故必顛蹶、不得復興、

惟爾富者禍矣、以爾已得安慰也、爾今飽者禍矣、以爾將饑也、爾今笑者禍矣、以爾將悲哀哭泣也、
