那創造昴星和參星，把幽暗變為黎明，把白日轉為黑夜；又吩咐海水，把海水倒在地上的；耶和華就是他的名。

要寻求那造昴星和参星，使死荫变为晨光，使白日变为黑夜，命海水来浇在地上的（耶和华是他的名）。

今當求我、我造昴參諸宿、變陰翳為光明、轉白晝為昏夜、使海水泛濫於地、我名耶和華。

He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns midnight into dawn and darkens day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the Lord is his name.

The Lord made the Pleiades and Orion. He turns midnight into sunrise. He makes the day fade into night. He sends for the waters in the clouds. Then he pours them out on the surface of the land. His name is the Lord.

He who made the Pleiades and Orion, and turns deep darkness into the morning and darkens the day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the surface of the earth, the Lord is his name;

It is the Lord who created the stars, the Pleiades and Orion. He turns darkness into morning and day into night. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The Lord is his name!

The one who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns darkness into dawn and darkens day into night, who summons the water of the sea and pours it out over the surface of the earth— the LORD is his name.

看哪！他造了山，創造了風，把他的心意告訴人；他使晨光變為黑暗，他的腳踏在地的高處，耶和華萬軍的神就是他的名。

他造北斗與參星，昴星和南方的星座；

“到那日，這是耶和華的宣告：我必使太陽在正午落下，在白晝使地變成昏暗。

那在天上建立樓閣，在大地之上奠立穹蒼；又吩咐海水，把海水倒在地上的；耶和華就是他的名。

你安設黑暗，有了晚上，林中的百獸就都爬出來。

他從黑暗中彰顯奧祕，把死蔭領進光中。

你能繫住昴星的結嗎？你能解開參星的帶嗎？你能按時領出瑪查魯夫星系嗎？你能引導北斗和隨從它的眾星嗎？

他們有些人坐在黑暗和死蔭裡，被困苦和鐵鍊捆鎖著；因為他們違背了神的話，藐視了至高者的旨意。所以神用苦難治服他們的心；他們跌倒，也沒有人幫助。他們在急難中呼求耶和華，耶和華就拯救他們脫離困苦。他從黑暗裡和死蔭中把他們領出來，弄斷他們的鎖鍊。

他使電光來臨，是為施行責罰，或為滋潤大地，或為賜予慈愛。

他命黑暗降下，使那地黑暗；他的話是不能違背的。

挪亞六百歲那一年，二月十七日那一天，所有大淵的泉源都裂開了，天上的窗戶都敞開了。大雨傾盆下在地上，一連四十晝夜。就在那一天，挪亞帶著他的兒子閃、含、雅弗，以及他的妻子和三個兒媳，一同進了方舟。他們一家，所有走獸各從其類，所有牲畜各從其類，所有在地上爬行的動物各從其類，所有有羽有翼的飛禽各從其類，有生命、有氣息的，都是一對一對來到挪亞那裡，進入方舟。那些進去的，都是有生命的，一公一母進去，是照著神吩咐挪亞的。耶和華跟著就把方舟關起來。洪水就臨到地上四十天；水不斷上漲，把方舟升起，於是方舟就從地上浮起來。水勢甚大，在地上大大上漲，方舟就在水面上漂來漂去。水勢在地面上越來越大，天下所有的高山都被淹沒了。水勢浩大，比眾山高出七公尺，山嶺都被淹沒了。

光照那坐在黑暗中死蔭裡的人，引導我們的腳，走上平安的路。”

到第七次，僕人說：“我看到一小片烏雲，好像人的手掌那麼大，正在從海裡升上來。”以利亞說：“你上去告訴亞哈：‘趕快套車下山，免得被大雨所阻。’”霎時之間，天空因風雲而變為黑暗，隨著降下大雨來。於是亞哈坐上了車，往耶斯列去了。

自你有生以來，你何曾吩咐過晨光照耀，使黎明的曙光知道自己的本位，叫這光照遍大地的四極，把惡人從那裡抖掉呢？

到了晨更的時候，耶和華透過雲柱火柱向下觀看埃及人的軍兵，並且使埃及人的軍兵大起混亂。又使他們的車輪脫落，行駛困難，因此埃及人說：“我們從以色列人面前逃跑吧，因為耶和華為他們爭戰，攻擊埃及人了。”耶和華對摩西說：“你要向海伸手，使水回流到埃及人身上，流到他們的戰車和馬兵身上。”摩西就向海伸手，到了天亮的時候，海水流回原處；埃及人逆流逃跑的時候，耶和華就把他們投在海中。海水一回流，就淹沒了馬車、馬兵和那些跟著以色列人下海去的法老的全軍，連一個也沒有餘下。

我必領瞎子走陌生的道，帶他們走他們不知道的路。我必在他們面前使黑暗變為光明，使彎曲的地方變為平直。這些事我都要作，決不放棄。

你能向密雲揚聲嗎？你能使洪水淹沒你嗎？

耶和華對摩西說：“你要向天舉手，使黑暗臨到埃及地，這黑暗是可以觸摸的。”摩西向天伸手，幽暗就臨到埃及全地三天之久。三天之內，人彼此不能看見，誰也不能起來離開自己的地方；但是在所有以色列人居住的地方都有亮光。

你用深水像衣服一般覆蓋大地，使眾水高過群山。因你的斥責，水就退去；因你的雷聲，水就奔逃。眾水流經群山，向下流往眾谷，流到你為它們指定的地方。你定了界限，使眾水不能越過；它們不再轉回掩蓋大地。

住在黑暗中的人民，看見了大光；死亡幽暗之地的居民，有光照亮他們。”

我們摸索牆壁，好像瞎子一樣；我們摸索，如同沒有眼睛的人一般；我們在中午跌倒，有如在黃昏跌倒一樣；我們在肥壯的人中，好像死人一般。
