He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns midnight into dawn and darkens day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the Lord is his name.

The Lord made the Pleiades and Orion. He turns midnight into sunrise. He makes the day fade into night. He sends for the waters in the clouds. Then he pours them out on the surface of the land. His name is the Lord.

He who made the Pleiades and Orion, and turns deep darkness into the morning and darkens the day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the surface of the earth, the Lord is his name;

It is the Lord who created the stars, the Pleiades and Orion. He turns darkness into morning and day into night. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The Lord is his name!

看啊，那位造山又造風，向人顯明祂的心意，將黎明變為黑暗，將群山踩在腳下的——祂的名字是萬軍之上帝耶和華。

祂創造了北斗星、參星、昴星及南天的星座。

主耶和華說：「到那日，我要使太陽中午落下，使白晝變為黑暗。

那位在天上建造樓閣，在大地之上立定穹蒼，召來海水澆在大地上的——祂的名字是耶和華。

你造黑暗，定為夜晚，作林中百獸出沒的時間。

祂揭露黑暗中的奧秘，祂把幽暗帶入光明中。

「你能繫住昴星的結，解開參星的帶嗎？你能按季節領出星座，引導北斗及其眾星嗎？

有些人坐在黑暗裡，在死亡的陰影下，被鐵鏈捆綁，痛苦不堪。因為他們違背上帝的話，藐視至高者的旨意，所以上帝用苦役使他們順服，他們跌倒也無人扶助。於是，他們在患難中呼求耶和華，耶和華就拯救他們脫離困境。祂帶領他們脫離黑暗和死亡的陰影，斷開他們的鎖鏈。

或為懲罰大地，或為彰顯慈愛。

祂降下黑暗，使黑暗籠罩那裡；他們沒有違背祂的話。

挪亞六百歲那年的二月十七日，所有深淵的泉源都裂開了，天上的水閘也打開了，地上傾盆大雨降了四十晝夜。那天，挪亞與他的兒子閃、含和雅弗，還有挪亞的妻子和三個兒媳婦都進了方舟。所有的野獸、牲畜、地上的爬蟲和飛鳥都按種類進入方舟。這些動物都一公一母成對地到挪亞那裡，進入方舟，正如上帝對挪亞的吩咐。耶和華關上了方舟的門。

照亮那些生活在黑暗中和死亡陰影下的人，帶領我們走平安的道路。」

第七次，僕人說：「我看見一朵手掌那麼大的雲從海裡升起來了。」以利亞便吩咐他：「你去告訴亞哈，叫他套車下山，免得被雨阻擋。」霎時間，天上烏雲密佈，狂風大作，下起大雨。亞哈坐著馬車回耶斯列。

「你生平可曾向晨曦發號施令，為黎明的曙光指定崗位，使陽光普照大地，抖出藏匿的惡人？

到了破曉時分，耶和華從雲柱火柱中俯視埃及軍隊，擾亂他們的隊伍。祂使他們戰車的輪子脫落，難以前行。於是，埃及人說：「我們逃命吧，因為耶和華在幫助以色列人對付我們！」耶和華對摩西說：「你向海伸出手，使海水回流，淹沒埃及軍隊。」天剛亮的時候，摩西向海伸出手，海水便復原。埃及人紛紛向岸上逃命，耶和華卻使大水把他們捲回海中。海水回流，法老的戰車和人馬都淹沒在大海之中，全軍覆沒。

我要帶領瞎子走他們不認識的路，引導他們走陌生的道。我要把他們面前的黑暗變為光明，坎坷之地變得平坦。我必行這些事，我必不離棄他們。

你能號令雲彩，使傾盆大雨覆蓋你嗎？

耶和華對摩西說：「你向天伸杖，使埃及全境漆黑一片，那黑暗濃得甚至可以摸到。」摩西向天伸杖，埃及全境便漆黑了三天之久。埃及人彼此看不見，誰也不敢移動半步。可是，以色列人住的地方卻有光。

你以深水為衣覆蓋大地，淹沒群山。你一聲怒叱，眾水便奔逃；你一聲雷鳴，眾水就奔流，漫過山巒，流進山谷，歸到你指定的地方。你為眾水劃定不可逾越的界線，以免大地再遭淹沒。

你們住在黑暗中的人看見了大光，活在死亡陰影下的人被光照亮了！」

我們像盲人一樣沿牆摸索，像無眼睛的人一樣探路。我們在中午也跌跌撞撞，如同走在晚上。我們在強壯人當中如同死人。
