穡前三月、我禁止雨降、降雨於一邑、不降雨於他邑、一田得雨、他田不得雨、遂致乾旱、

“在收割的前三月，我使雨停止，不降在你们那里；我降雨在这城，不降雨在那城；这块地有雨，那块地无雨；无雨的就枯干了。

“在收割的前三个月，我不降雨在你们那里，我降雨在这城，不降雨在那城；这块地有雨，那块无雨的地就必枯干。

“在收割的前三个月，我不降雨在你们那里，我降雨在这城，不降雨在那城；这块地有雨，那块无雨的地就必枯干。

“我在收割前三个月停止降雨。我在一座城降雨，在另一座城不降雨；我使一块田有雨水的滋润，另一块田因无雨而干裂。

穫前三月、我禁厥雨、惟雨此邑、不雨彼邑、一田得雨、他田無雨、則枯槁焉、

耶和華又曰、秋前三月、我不降雨、惟雨一邑、他邑不雨、惟潤一田、他田不潤、遂致荒蕪、

“ I also withheld rain from you when the harvest was still three months away. I sent rain on one town, but withheld it from another. One field had rain; another had none and dried up.

“ I also held back rain from you. The time to harvest crops was still three months away. I sent rain on one town. But I held it back from another. One field had rain. But another had no rain and dried up.

“ I also withheld the rain from you when there were yet three months to the harvest; I would send rain on one city, and send no rain on another city; one field would have rain, and the field on which it did not rain would wither;

“ I kept the rain from falling when your crops needed it the most. I sent rain on one town but withheld it from another. Rain fell on one field, while another field withered away.

I also withheld the rain from you while there were still three months until harvest. I sent rain on one city but no rain on another. One field received rain while a field with no rain withered.

“ Furthermore, I withheld the rain from you While there were still three months until harvest. Then I would send rain on one city, But on another city I would not send rain; One part would be rained on, While the part not rained on would dry up.

“ I also withheld rain from you, When there were still three months to the harvest. I made it rain on one city, I withheld rain from another city. One part was rained upon, And where it did not rain the part withered.

And I also have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest; and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

緣此、甘霖止息、秋雨不降、爾猶靦顏不知恥、有如淫婦、

惟以色列人所居之歌珊地無雹、

使為荒蕪、不修不鋤、荊棘疾藜、徧生其中、亦命雲不復降雨其上、

以利亞為人與我儕同情、彼切求不雨、則不雨於地、歷三年有六月、

三日間、人與人不能相見、坐者不能起離其所、惟以色列人所居之地悉有光、

主必區別以色列人之畜與伊及人之畜、使凡屬以色列人者、一無所斃、

因無雨降於地、土壤乾裂、耕者慚愧蒙首、

至此爾猶不聽我、仍逆我以行、我必震怒、依爾逆行待爾、因爾罪愆、譴責爾至於七倍、

我以綿羊毛一團、置於禾場、如露獨在羊毛、而四圍之土仍乾、則知主必藉我手拯以色列人、循主所許、明日基甸夙興、見果如斯、取羊毛擠之、自羊毛擠露盈盂、基甸又禱主曰、求主莫向我震怒、我敢復進一言、再以羊毛試之、願羊毛獨乾、四圍之土悉有露、是夜天主如是而行、羊毛獨乾、四圍之土悉有露、

如民獲罪於主、致天閉塞不雨、而在此處祈禱、認主之名、主罰之之後、悛悔罪惡、求主在天垂聽、赦免主之僕、主之民以色列之罪、示之以當行之善道、使雨降於主之地、即主所賜主之民為業之地、

是故覆爾之天、止降甘露、地止產百物、我已使土地山岡旱乾、使五穀酒油、及地之一切所產、盡皆匱乏、使人與畜俱不得力、勞苦徒然、原文作使旱臨於土地山岡臨於穀酒油及地之一切所產臨於人及畜臨於一切所勞苦者○

恐主震怒爾曹、使天不降雨、使地不產物、使爾在主所賜爾之美地滅亡甚速、

至此爾猶不受責服我、仍逆我以行、我必依爾之逆行而待爾、必因爾罪愆、譴責爾至於七倍、

天下萬族、不上耶路撒冷崇拜大君萬有之主、必無雨降於其地、

田畝荒蕪、地土淒涼、淒涼原文作悲哀穀已盡、酒已罄、油已缺、麥與麰麥、悉已罄盡、田間禾稼、歸於烏有、農夫絕望、治葡萄園者號哭、葡萄樹全槁、無花果樹亦萎、石榴樹、巴勒瑪樹、蘋果樹、及田園田園原文作田間諸樹、無不憔悴、民間歡樂、變為憂戚、惟爾祭司、當腰繫麻哀泣、供役祭臺者當號哭、奉事我天主者、入而衣麻、終夜不解、因爾天主殿中、無物可備素祭、無酒可以灌奠、當定禁食之日、宣告大會、集諸長老及地之居民、入主爾天主之殿中、呼籲主、哀哉、主降災之日伊邇、禍患由全能之主、倏然而至、於我目前、糈糧已絕、在我天主之殿中、欣喜歡樂、亦皆止息、所播之種、壞於土塊之下、倉空廩虛、遂至傾圮、因禾稼盡枯、牲畜哀鳴、群牛散亂、因牧場無草、群羊皆斃、皆斃或作困憊

如我使天閉塞而不降雨、或使蝗蝻食土產、或使疫癘流行我民中、斯民即名為我民者、卑以自牧、祈禱以求我面、離其惡道、離其惡道或作悔其惡行則我必在天垂聽赦其罪、使其地無災、使其地無災原文作我醫其地

彼有權閉天、使天在傳道之日不雨、亦有權於水、能變為血、無論何時、可任意使諸災降於地、

異邦人所奉虛無之神、有能降雨者乎、天能自沛甘霖乎、主我之天主歟、能若是者、非主乎、主行此諸事、故我仍仰望主、

郇邑之民、當因主爾之天主、欣喜歡樂、因主賜爾及時之雨、為爾降春雨秋霖、與前日無異、

爾頭上之天將若銅、爾足下之地將若鐵、主不使雨降於爾地、惟使塵沙自天而降於爾、致爾殲滅、

其心不自謂曰、我儕當敬畏主我之天主、主隨時賜雨、即春雨秋雨、為我定穡期、永存不廢、爾之愆尤、使爾不復獲此益、爾之罪過、使爾不復蒙福、

至此爾猶不聽我、我必因爾罪愆、譴責爾至於七倍、爾恃力驕傲、我必毀之、使爾卑微、使蓋爾之天如鐵、載爾之地如銅、爾徒然劬勞、地不產物、樹不結果、爾若逆我以行、不欲聽我、我必按爾之罪、譴責爾至於七倍、

爾曹豈不曰、及穫時、尚有四月、我告爾、舉目觀田、禾稼已熟、熟原文作白可穫矣、

是日、我必區別我民所居之歌珊地、在彼必無蠅蚋、使爾知我耶和華為主於世間、

爾異乎人、誰使爾異、爾何所有而非受之乎、既受之何誇似未受乎、
