耶和華曰、大馬色干罪、至三至四、我不挽回厥罰、以其以打穀鐵器撻基列也、

耶和華曰、大馬色人犯罪、至三至四、更以鐵器擊基列民人、故我必罰其罪、

主如是云、大瑪色人犯罪、至三至四、更以鐵器擊基列人、故我降罰以報之、必不挽回、必不挽回或作必不回志下同

This is what the Lord says:“ For three sins of Damascus, even for four, I will not relent. Because she threshed Gilead with sledges having iron teeth,

The Lord says,“ The people of Damascus have sinned again and again. So I will judge them. They used threshing sleds with iron teeth to crush Gilead’s people.

Thus says the Lord:“ For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not revoke the punishment, because they have threshed Gilead with threshing sledges of iron.

This is what the Lord says:“ The people of Damascus have sinned again and again, and I will not let them go unpunished! They beat down my people in Gilead as grain is threshed with iron sledges.

The LORD says: I will not relent from punishing Damascus for three crimes, even four, because they threshed Gilead with iron sledges.

This is what the Lord says:“ For three offenses of Damascus, and for four, I will not revoke its punishment, Because they threshed Gilead with iron sledges.

Thus says the Lord:“ For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they have threshed Gilead with implements of iron.

Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Damascus, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron.

The Lord says: I will not relent from punishing Damascus for three crimes, even four, because they threshed Gilead with iron sledges.

Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away[ the punishment] thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

This is what the LORD says:“ Because Damascus has committed three crimes– make that four!– I will not revoke my decree of judgment. They ripped through Gilead like threshing sledges with iron teeth.

Yahweh says:“ For three transgressions of Damascus, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron;

This is what the Lord says:“ For three sins of Tyre, even for four, I will not relent. Because she sold whole communities of captives to Edom, disregarding a treaty of brotherhood, (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ For three sins of Israel, even for four, I will not relent. They sell the innocent for silver, and the needy for a pair of sandals. (niv)

For before the boy knows how to say‘ My father’ or‘ My mother,’ the wealth of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried off by the king of Assyria.” (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ For three sins of Ammon, even for four, I will not relent. Because he ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead in order to extend his borders, (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ For three sins of Judah, even for four, I will not relent. Because they have rejected the law of the Lord and have not kept his decrees, because they have been led astray by false gods, the gods their ancestors followed, (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ For three sins of Moab, even for four, I will not relent. Because he burned to ashes the bones of Edom’s king, (niv)

Concerning Damascus:“ Hamath and Arpad are dismayed, for they have heard bad news. They are disheartened, troubled like the restless sea.Damascus has become feeble, she has turned to flee and panic has gripped her; anguish and pain have seized her, pain like that of a woman in labor.Why has the city of renown not been abandoned, the town in which I delight?Surely, her young men will fall in the streets; all her soldiers will be silenced in that day,” declares the Lord Almighty.“ I will set fire to the walls of Damascus; it will consume the fortresses of Ben-Hadad.” (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ For three sins of Gaza, even for four, I will not relent. Because she took captive whole communities and sold them to Edom, (niv)

A prophecy: The word of the Lord is against the land of Hadrak and will come to rest on Damascus— for the eyes of all people and all the tribes of Israel are on the Lord— (niv)

A prophecy against Damascus:“ See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins.The cities of Aroer will be deserted and left to flocks, which will lie down, with no one to make them afraid.The fortified city will disappear from Ephraim, and royal power from Damascus; the remnant of Aram will be like the glory of the Israelites,” declares the Lord Almighty. (niv)

In those days the Lord began to reduce the size of Israel. Hazael overpowered the Israelites throughout their territoryeast of the Jordan in all the land of Gilead( the region of Gad, Reuben and Manasseh), from Aroer by the Arnon Gorge through Gilead to Bashan. (niv)

“ Why is my lord weeping?” asked Hazael.“ Because I know the harm you will do to the Israelites,” he answered.“ You will set fire to their fortified places, kill their young men with the sword, dash their little children to the ground, and rip open their pregnant women.” (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ For three sins of Edom, even for four, I will not relent. Because he pursued his brother with a sword and slaughtered the women of the land, because his anger raged continually and his fury flamed unchecked, (niv)

Nothing had been left of the army of Jehoahaz except fifty horsemen, ten chariots and ten thousand foot soldiers, for the king of Aram had destroyed the rest and made them like the dust at threshing time. (niv)

Ten times now you have reproached me; shamelessly you attack me. (niv)

“ See, I will make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth. You will thresh the mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff. (niv)

Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land. (niv)

There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: (niv)

Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu. (niv)

So the Lord’s anger burned against Israel, and for a long time he kept them under the power of Hazael king of Aram and Ben-Hadad his son. (niv)

From six calamities he will rescue you; in seven no harm will touch you. (niv)

for the head of Aram is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is only Rezin. Within sixty-five years Ephraim will be too shattered to be a people. (niv)
