He said:“ The Lord roars from Zion and thunders from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds dry up, and the top of Carmel withers.”

He said,“ The Lord roars like a lion from Jerusalem. His voice sounds like thunder from Zion. The grasslands of the shepherds turn brown. The top of Mount Carmel dries up.”

And he said:“ The Lord roars from Zion and utters his voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the top of Carmel withers.”

This is what he saw and heard:“ The Lord’s voice will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem! The lush pastures of the shepherds will dry up; the grass on Mount Carmel will wither and die.”

He said: The LORD roars from Zion and makes his voice heard from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the summit of Carmel withers.

And he said,“ The Lord roars from Zion, And from Jerusalem He utters His voice; And the shepherds’ pasture grounds mourn, And the summit of Carmel dries up.”

And he said:“ The Lord roars from Zion, And utters His voice from Jerusalem; The pastures of the shepherds mourn, And the top of Carmel withers.”

And he said, Jehovah will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

He said: The Lord roars from Zion and raises His voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the summit of Carmel withers.

And he said, The LORD will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.

Amos said:“ The LORD comes roaring out of Zion; from Jerusalem he comes bellowing! The shepherds’ pastures wilt; the summit of Carmel withers.”

He said:“ Yahweh will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds will mourn, and the top of Carmel will wither.”

耶和华从锡安吼叫，并从耶路撒冷发声，天地就震动。耶和华却要作他子民的避难所，作以色列众子的保障。

“因此你要对他们宣讲这一切话，对他们说：‘耶和华必从高天吼叫，从他的圣所发声；他必大声吼叫攻击自己的羊圈；他要对地上所有的居民呼喊，像那些踹葡萄的人呼喊一样。

这地悲哀，田野的青草都枯干，要等到几时呢？由于这地居民的恶行，走兽和飞鸟都灭绝了；因为他们说：“神看不见我们的结局。”

耶和华必像勇士出战，必像战士激动热心；他要呼喊，大声吶喊，要向仇敌显出自己的威猛。

如果他们躲在迦密山顶，就是在那里，我必搜寻他们，抓他们出来；如果他们要躲避我，藏在海底，就是在那里，我必命令蛇去咬他们；

大地悲哀衰残，黎巴嫩羞惭枯干；沙仑好像荒原，巴珊和迦密的树木凋零。

王的震怒好像狮子的吼叫；触怒他的是自害己命。

粮食不是在我们的眼前断绝了吗？欢喜与快乐不是从我们的神的殿中止息了吗？谷种在土块底下朽烂，仓库荒凉，谷仓破烂被拆毁，因为五谷都枯干了。牲畜发出哀鸣，牛群到处流荡，因为没有草场给它们，羊群也同样受苦。

素祭和奠祭都从耶和华的殿里断绝了，事奉耶和华的祭司也都悲哀。田野荒废，土地凄凉，因为五谷毁坏，新酒干竭，油也缺乏。农夫啊！你们要为大麦和小麦羞愧。修理葡萄园的啊！你们要哀号，因为田间的庄稼都破坏了。葡萄树枯干，无花果树衰残；石榴树、棕树、苹果树，田野所有的树木都枯干，因此欢乐从人间消失了。祭司啊！你们要腰束麻布，并且痛哭。在祭坛侍候的啊！你们要哀号。事奉我的神的啊！你们披上麻布进去过夜吧，因为素祭和奠祭，都从你们的神的殿中止息了。

“我曾在收割前三个月，不降雨给你们；我降雨给一个城，在另一个城却不降雨；我在一块地降雨，另一块地没有雨水就枯干了。两三个城的居民挤到一个城去找水喝，却没有足够的水喝；但你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华的宣告。

“犹大悲哀，她的城镇（“城镇”原文作“城门”）衰落，人人都坐在地上悲伤痛哭；耶路撒冷的哀声上达于天。

我必领以色列回到它的牧场，它必在迦密和巴珊吃草，又在以法莲山地和基列地吃得饱足。

耶和华在他的军队前头发出声音；他的队伍极大，成就他话语的，是强盛的人。耶和华的日子伟大，非常可畏，谁能忍受得住呢？

必茂盛地开花，大大快乐，并且欢呼。黎巴嫩的荣耀、迦密和沙仑的华美也赐给它；人们必看见耶和华的荣耀、我们神的华美。

我要袭击他们，像一只失掉幼熊的母熊，撕裂他们的胸膛；在那里我必像一只母狮吞吃他们；野兽必撕裂他们。

他一斥责海，海就干了；他使一切江河枯干。巴珊和迦密的树林枯槁，黎巴嫩的花卉凋残。

在玛云有一个人，他的产业在迦密。他是一个很富有的人，有绵羊三千只，山羊一千只，那时他正在迦密剪羊毛。

如果主耶和华不先把计划向他的仆人众先知显示，他就不会作任何事。狮子吼叫，谁不害怕；主耶和华宣告，谁敢不代他传话？
