“ Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked.“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied.

“ Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked.“ I am Jesus,” he replied.“ I am the one you are opposing.

And he said,“ Who are you, Lord?” And he said,“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

“ Who are you, lord?” Saul asked. And the voice replied,“ I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting!

“ Who are you, Lord?” Saul said.“ I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting,” he replied.

And he said,“ Who are You, Lord?” And He said,“ I am Jesus whom you are persecuting,

And he said,“ Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said,“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”

And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:

“ Who are You, Lord?” he said.“ I am Jesus, the One you are persecuting,” He replied.

And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:[ it is] hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

So he said,“ Who are you, Lord?” He replied,“ I am Jesus whom you are persecuting!

He said,“ Who are you, Lord?” The Lord said,“ I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.

Then the Lord called Samuel. Samuel answered,“ Here I am.”And he ran to Eli and said,“ Here I am; you called me.” But Eli said,“ I did not call; go back and lie down.” So he went and lay down.Again the Lord called,“ Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said,“ Here I am; you called me.”“ My son,” Eli said,“ I did not call; go back and lie down.”Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him.A third time the Lord called,“ Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said,“ Here I am; you called me.” Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy.So Eli told Samuel,“ Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say,‘ Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times,“ Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said,“ Speak, for your servant is listening.” (niv)

Do you have an arm like God’s, and can your voice thunder like his?Then adorn yourself with glory and splendor, and clothe yourself in honor and majesty. (niv)

Kiss his son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him. (niv)

Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. (niv)

Are we trying to arouse the Lord’s jealousy? Are we stronger than he? (niv)

“ Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter,‘ What are you making?’ Does your work say,‘ The potter has no hands’? (niv)
