“ Now when he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren, the children of Israel.

眷念其兄弟以色列眾子而往視之、

念以色列人、兄弟也、行年四十、欲往視之、

行年四十、心念其兄弟以色列人、往顧之、

行年四十、乃念義塞為其同宗、故欲一訪其國人。

“ When Moses was forty years old, he decided to visit his own people, the Israelites.

“ When Moses was 40 years old, he decided to visit the people of Israel. They were his own people.

“ When he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brothers, the children of Israel.

“ One day when Moses was forty years old, he decided to visit his relatives, the people of Israel.

“ When he was forty years old, he decided to visit his own people, the Israelites.

But when he was approaching the age of forty, it entered his mind to visit his countrymen, the sons of Israel.

But when he was well- nigh forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.

“ As he was approaching the age of 40, he decided to visit his brothers, the Israelites.

And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.

But when he was about forty years old, it entered his mind to visit his fellow countrymen the Israelites.

But when he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brothers, the children of Israel.

By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin,esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward.

Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens. And he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren.So he looked this way and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.

Also the hand of God was on Judah to give them singleness of heart to obey the command of the king and the leaders, at the word of the Lord.

The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.

For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

So Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him,“ Please let me go and return to my brethren who are in Egypt, and see whether they are still alive.” And Jethro said to Moses,“ Go in peace.”

Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying,

Then the heads of the fathers’ houses of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and the Levites, with all whose spirits God had moved, arose to go up and build the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

But thanks be to God who puts the same earnest care for you into the heart of Titus.

Then after some days Paul said to Barnabas,“ Let us now go back and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they are doing.”

Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem,

Then everyone came whose heart was stirred, and everyone whose spirit was willing, and they brought the LORD’s offering for the work of the tabernacle of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments.

The children of Israel brought a freewill offering to the Lord, all the men and women whose hearts were willing to bring material for all kinds of work which the Lord, by the hand of Moses, had commanded to be done.

I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You.O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intent of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and fix their heart toward You.And give my son Solomon a loyal heart to keep Your commandments and Your testimonies and Your statutes, to do all these things, and to build the temple for which I have made provision.”
