“上帝对亚伯拉罕所应许的日子快到的时侯，以色列人在埃及的人口已大大增加。

“神给亚伯拉罕的应许快要实现的时候，以色列人在埃及人口繁盛增多；

“随着神向亚伯拉罕所宣告的那应许时期临近，以色列子民在埃及兴旺、增多，

「及至神應許亞伯拉罕的日期將到，以色列民在埃及興盛眾多，

「當上帝應許亞伯拉罕的日期將到的時候，以色列人在埃及人丁興旺，

「上帝對亞伯拉罕所應許的日子快到的時侯，以色列人在埃及的人口已大大增加。

“神給亞伯拉罕的應許快要實現的時候，以色列人在埃及人口繁盛增多；

『當應許的時期、上帝向亞伯拉罕所公然應許的、將近實現的時候、人民在埃及興盛加多，

「隨著神向亞伯拉罕所宣告的那應許時期臨近，以色列子民在埃及興旺、增多，

迨上帝許亞伯拉罕之期已近、民於埃及、滋生蕃衍、

迨上帝誓許亞伯拉罕之期近、我民居埃及者蕃衍、

天主立誓許亞伯拉罕之言、將驗之期、以色列民在伊及增益蕃多、

迨天主所許於亞伯漢者之期將屆、義塞人在埃及日漸蕃衍；

“ As the time drew near for God to fulfill his promise to Abraham, the number of our people in Egypt had greatly increased.

“ In Egypt the number of our people grew and grew. It was nearly time for God to make his promise to Abraham come true.

“ But as the time of the promise drew near, which God had granted to Abraham, the people increased and multiplied in Egypt

“ As the time drew near when God would fulfill his promise to Abraham, the number of our people in Egypt greatly increased.

“ As the time was approaching to fulfill the promise that God had made to Abraham, the people flourished and multiplied in Egypt

“ But as the time of the promise which God had assured to Abraham was approaching, the people increased and multiplied in Egypt,

“ But when the time of the promise drew near which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt

But as the time of the promise drew nigh which God vouchsafed unto Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

“ As the time was drawing near to fulfill the promise that God had made to Abraham, the people flourished and multiplied in Egypt

But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

“ But as the time drew near for God to fulfill the promise he had declared to Abraham, the people increased greatly in number in Egypt,

“ But as the time of the promise came close which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,

這以色列民的神揀選了我們的祖宗，當百姓寄居埃及的時候抬舉他們，用大能的手領他們從那地出來。

神這樣說：『他的後裔必寄居外邦，那裏的人要使他們作奴隸，苦待他們四百年。』

神恩待接生婆；以色列人增多起來，極其強盛。

耶和華使他的百姓生養眾多，使他們比敵人強盛，他使敵人的心轉去恨他的百姓，用詭計待他的僕人。

然而，以色列人生養眾多，繁衍昌盛，極其強盛，遍滿了那地。有一位不認識約瑟的新王興起，統治埃及。他對自己的百姓說：「看哪，以色列人的百姓比我們還多，又比我們強盛。來吧，讓我們機巧地待他們，恐怕他們增多起來，將來若有戰爭，他們就聯合我們的仇敵來攻擊我們，然後離開這地去了。」於是埃及人派監工管轄他們，用勞役苦待他們。他們為法老建造儲貨城，就是比東和蘭塞。可是越苦待他們，他們就越發增多，更加繁衍，埃及人就因以色列人愁煩。

親愛的，有一件事你們不可忘記，就是：主看一日如千年，千年如一日。主沒有遲延他的應許，就如有人以為他是遲延，其實他是寬容你們，不願一人沉淪，而是人人都來悔改。

耶和華對亞伯蘭說：「你要確實知道，你的後裔必寄居在別人的地，服事那地的人；那地的人要虐待他們四百年。但我要懲罰他們所服事的那國，以後他們必帶着許多財物從那裏出來。至於你，你要平平安安歸到你祖先那裏，必享長壽，被人埋葬。到了第四代，他們必回到這裏，因為亞摩利人的罪惡到現在還沒有滿盈。」
