Choose for your tribes wise, understanding, and experienced men, and I will appoint them as your heads.’

For it was better for us in Egypt.” Therefore the Lord will give you meat, and you shall eat.You shall not eat just one day, or two days, or five days, or ten days, or twenty days,but a whole month, until it comes out at your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you, because you have rejected the Lord who is among you and have wept before him, saying,“ Why did we come out of Egypt?”’”But Moses said,“ The people among whom I am number six hundred thousand on foot, and you have said,‘ I will give them meat, that they may eat a whole month!’Shall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, and be enough for them? Or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, and be enough for them?”And the Lord said to Moses,“ Is the Lord’s hand shortened? And he gathered seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the tent.Then the Lord came down in the cloud and spoke to him, and took some of the Spirit that was on him and put it on the seventy elders. And as soon as the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied. But they did not continue doing it.

And Pharaoh said to his servants,“ Can we find a man like this, in whom is the Spirit of God?”Then Pharaoh said to Joseph,“ Since God has shown you all this, there is none so discerning and wise as you are.

So the Lord said to Moses,“ Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him.Make him stand before Eleazar the priest and all the congregation, and you shall commission him in their sight.

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death.Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. He will be a spirit of justice to the one who sits in judgment, a source of strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate. (niv)

The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord—and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.Righteousness will be his belt and faithfulness the sash around his waist. (niv)

I thought,‘ Age should speak; advanced years should teach wisdom.’But it is the spirit in a person, the breath of the Almighty, that gives them understanding. (niv)

To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, (niv)
