耶和華有旨必行、非詭謀所能撓。

爾強項塞心充耳之人、恆逆聖神、爾祖所行、爾亦若是、

蓋上帝即不智、亦智於人、上帝即不能、亦能於人、

我又語爾、爾乃彼得、我將建我會於此磐、而陰府不能勝、

自始迄終、未來之事、我一一預言、我旨必成、意必就。

是上帝賜異邦人、無異於賜我信主耶穌基督者、則我何人斯、能阻上帝耶、

士提反慧心銳志而言、眾不能勝、

我豈可激主怒乎、我豈勝於主乎、

溯厥原始、我已先在、我之所為、無能扞格、無能奪之於我手。

爾所侮所欺者為誰、爾白眼而視、疾聲而呼、欲攻誰乎。豈非以色列族之聖者乎。

主所福、誰能禍之、主所禍、誰能福之、其待人或一國、或匹夫、無二理也。

曰、子為誰、主曰、吾乃爾所窘逐之耶穌也、爾以足觸莿、難矣、

眾大譟、𠵽唎㘔同道士子、起而爭曰、我儕見此人無惡、或神、或天使、與之言、我不可與上帝爭、

人若陶器、居於土壤、如與造化主爭、禍必及之。譬諸塗泥、豈能謂陶人曰、奚造我若此、受造之物、豈能謂造之者、毫無技能。

摩西亞倫覲法老曰希百來族之上帝耶和華諭云、爾欲待何時、始自卑乎、當釋我民、以役事我。倘不釋我民、明白我使蝗至爾境內。周遍於地、幾無隙土、其未壞於雹者、必為蝗所食、以及園中植木、無不盡焉。爾之宮幃、臣民之第宅、蝗充斥之、自爾祖爾父至於今日、皆未嘗見也。摩西退。○群臣奏法老曰、似此累我伊於何底、宜釋斯族、役事其上帝耶和華、豈不知埃及、已將危亡乎。

惡人自恃其勇、狂悖成性、侮慢全能之上帝。挺身馳突、以厚盾自衛。容貌肥壯、軀幹雄偉。

耶和華云、此我所使、爾毋往與同族兄弟以色列族戰、各歸故土。民從耶和華命而歸。○

昔掃羅為王、治理我儕、爾導以色列族出入、耶和華有應許曰、爾必牧以色列族、為我民之長。

爾有巨能若我、爾可行雷若我。試以威嚴為外飾、試以尊榮為衣服、爾施震怒、使矜高者卑微、驕肆者喪敗、作惡者蹂躪。

蓋我將賜爾口才智慧、使諸仇不能辯駁敵對、

拉班與彼土利曰、事由耶和華、毋庸辨其是非、

斯世之億兆、藐乎其小、有如無物、天下軍旅、地下人民、上帝隨意而作、其取之、孰能禦之、其為之、孰能詰之、

爾所見十角乃十王、彼未得國其與獸秉鈞、亦止片晷、皆懷一心、以已權能與獸、遂與羔戰、羔必勝之、以羔為諸主之主、列王之王、從之者、乃見召蒙選忠信之人、
