We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”

how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree.Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly,not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.And you are witnesses of these things.

This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses.

He was seen for many days by those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word.

For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:of sin, because they do not believe in Me;of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.“ I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

Then Peter said to them,“ Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”

But Peter and the other apostles answered and said:“ We ought to obey God rather than men.

But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven— things which angels desire to look into.

This will be the third time I am coming to you.“ By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.”
