We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me:and ye also bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which having at the first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard;God also bearing witness with them, both by signs and wonders, and by manifold powers, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will.

But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the country of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom also they slew, hanging him on a tree.Him God raised up the third day, and gave him to be made manifest,not to all the people, but unto witnesses that were chosen before of God, even to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.Ye are witnesses of these things.

This Jesus did God raise up, whereof we all are witnesses.

and he was seen for many days of them that came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses unto the people.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all them that heard the word.

For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:

Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you.And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:of sin, because they believe not on me;of righteousness, because I go to the Father, and ye behold me no more;of judgment, because the prince of this world hath been judged.I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come.He shall glorify me: for he shall take of mine, and shall declare it unto you.

And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him.

But Peter and the apostles answered and said, We must obey God rather than men.

But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believed on him were to receive: for the Spirit was not yet given; because Jesus was not yet glorified.

To whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto you, did they minister these things, which now have been announced unto you through them that preached the gospel unto you by the Holy Spirit sent forth from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.

This is the third time I am coming to you. At the mouth of two witnesses or three shall every word be established.
