耶穌進了殿院，正教訓人的時候，祭司長和民間的長老們上他跟前來，說：『你仗着甚麼權柄作這些事啊？誰給你這權柄呢？』

會眾聽從了迦瑪列，便把使徒叫來，打了一頓，囑咐他們不可奉耶穌的名講論，就給釋放了。

那人說：『誰設立你做首領做審判官來管我們呢？難道你要殺我、像殺那埃及人麼？』摩西害怕說：『這事必是給人知道了。』

於是猶太人回答耶穌說：『你作這些事、能把甚麼神迹指給我們看呢？』

他們聽了，就一個一個地出去，從老的起；只留下耶穌一人，而那婦人在當中。

經學士和法利賽人帶着一個行淫時被捉着的婦人來；叫她站在當中，

宣告禁食，叫拿伯坐在民間的首位上。有兩個無賴子一類的人來，坐在拿伯對面；無賴子當着眾民面前作見證告拿伯說：『拿伯曾經謗讟上帝和王』；眾人就把他拉出城外，拿石頭打他打到死。於是打發人去見耶洗別，說：『拿伯被石頭打到死了。』
