But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.

可是彼得和约翰回答说：“听从你们过于听从神，在神面前是理所当然的吗？你们自己判断吧！

但彼得和約翰答道：「要我們聽從你們而不聽從上帝，這在上帝看來合理嗎？你們自己想想吧。

彼得和約翰回答：“聽從你們過於聽從神，在神面前對不對，你們自己說吧！

但是彼得約翰卻回答他們說：『聽你們、過於聽上帝，這在上帝面前對不對，你們自己判斷吧。

可是彼得和約翰回答說：「聽從你們過於聽從神，在神面前是理所當然的嗎？你們自己判斷吧！

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹、過於聽上帝、在上帝前為義否、爾其審之、

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹、而過於聽上帝、在上帝前、義乎、爾自審焉、

彼得約翰曰、聽爾曹過於聽天主、在天主前義否、爾自審之、

伯鐸祿若望曰：『順爾旨而背天主、爾自分於理有當否？

But Peter and John replied,“ Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges!

But Peter and John replied,“ Which is right from God’s point of view? Should we listen to you? Or should we listen to God? You be the judges!

But Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge,

But Peter and John replied,“ Do you think God wants us to obey you rather than him?

Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it’s right in the sight of God for us to listen to you rather than to God, you decide;

But Peter and John answered and said to them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, make your own judgment;

But Peter and John answered and said to them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge.

But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it is right in the sight of God to hearken unto you rather than unto God, judge ye:

But Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it’s right in the sight of God for us to listen to you rather than to God, you decide;

But Peter and John replied,“ Whether it is right before God to obey you rather than God, you decide,

But Peter and John answered them,“ Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, judge for yourselves,

Then Peter and the[ other] apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.

I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say.

But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

For this[ is] good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

And king Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying, Upon the great altar burn the morning burnt offering, and the evening meat offering, and the king’s burnt sacrifice, and his meat offering, with the burnt offering of all the people of the land, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings; and sprinkle upon it all the blood of the burnt offering, and all the blood of the sacrifice: and the brasen altar shall be for me to enquire[ by].

But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to[ his] destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense.And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of the LORD,[ that were] valiant men:And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him,[ It appertaineth] not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither[ shall it be] for thine honour from the LORD God.Then Uzziah was wroth, and[ had] a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar.And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he[ was] leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people.

Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?

They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.

Ephraim[ is] oppressed[ and] broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

And Micaiah said,[ As] the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.

And he shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who did sin, and who made Israel to sin.

By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw[ he was] a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who[ is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty[ and] two months.And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.If any man have an ear, let him hear.He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive[ his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.Here is the patience of the saints: here[ are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

And this thing became a sin: for the people went[ to worship] before the one,[ even] unto Dan.

And the men of his city,[ even] the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them,[ and] as it[ was] written in the letters which she had sent unto them.

Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not[ thy word] against the house of Isaac.

Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
