我必恢復你的審判官，像起初一樣；也必恢復你的謀士，如起始一般；之後，你必被稱為『公義之城』、『忠信之城』。」

他們問耶穌，說：「經文士們為什麼說以利亞必須先來呢？」耶穌告訴他們：「以利亞確實要先來恢復萬事。至於人子，經上怎麼還記載說，他必然受很多苦害，並且被人拒絕呢？不過我告訴你們：其實以利亞已經來了，人們卻任意對待他，正如經上指著他所寫的。」

隨後，天使對我說：「這些話是信實的、真實的。主——眾先知之靈的神，差派了他的天使，要把這些必須快發生的事指示給他的奴僕們。」

耶穌回答說：「以利亞確實要來，並且要恢復萬事。但是我告訴你們：以利亞已經來了，人們卻不認他，反而任意對待他；照樣，人子也將受到他們的苦害。」

他必安坐像熬煉、潔淨銀子之人，潔淨利未的子孫，精煉他們像精煉金銀那樣；他們就必藉著公義向耶和華獻供物。這樣，猶大和耶路撒冷的供物必蒙耶和華喜悅，就像古時的日子、往昔的歲月。

要使你們想起聖先知們曾經說過的話，以及你們的使徒們所傳的主、救主的命令。

因為預言從來不是藉著人的意思傳來的，而是人受聖靈的感動說出從神而來的話。

所有的先知都為耶穌見證：『所有信他的人，都將藉著他的名，罪得赦免。』」

所以，你們應當悔改，應當回轉，使你們的罪孽被抹去，

上天哪、聖徒們、使徒們、先知們哪，你們應當因她歡喜！因為神已經向她施行審判，為你們懲罰她！」
