and that he may send the Christ who hath been appointed for you, even Jesus:

他好差遣所選派給你們的基督、就是耶穌。

致主遣為爾預定之基督、即耶穌也、

如此則主必賜爾安舒之日至、且將遣為爾所預言之基督、即耶穌、

俾天主按其預定賜爾以基督耶穌之重降。

and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you— even Jesus.

He will send the Messiah. Jesus has been appointed as the Messiah for you.

that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus,

Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah.

that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send Jesus, who has been appointed for you as the Messiah.

and that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you,

and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,

and that He may send Jesus, who has been appointed for you as the Messiah.

And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and so that he may send the Messiah appointed for you– that is, Jesus.

and that he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before,

And then shall be revealed the lawless one, whom the Lord Jesus shall slay with the breath of his mouth, and bring to nought by the manifestation of his coming;

and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.And he shall send forth his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh;even so ye also, when ye see all these things, know ye that he is nigh, even at the doors.Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished.Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, until all these things be accomplished.Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.But of that day or that hour knoweth no one, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.It is as when a man, sojourning in another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, to each one his work, commanded also the porter to watch.Watch therefore: for ye know not when the lord of the house cometh, whether at even, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or in the morning;lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

And as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

to the end that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Lord is just at hand;

And I saw the heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon called Faithful and True; and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems; and he hath a name written which no one knoweth but he himself.And he is arrayed in a garment sprinkled with blood: and his name is called The Word of God.And the armies which are in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and pure.And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.And he hath on his garment and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then shall he render unto every man according to his deeds.

inasmuch as he hath appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Behold, he cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they that pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn over him. Even so, Amen.

And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they supposed that the kingdom of God was immediately to appear.
