其言曰：「往告斯民曰、爾聽而不悟、視而不見；

他说：‘你去告诉这百姓说：你们听是要听见，却不明白；看是要看见，却不晓得；

他说：‘你去对这百姓说：你们听了又听，却不明白；看了又看，却看不清。

他说：‘你去对这百姓说：你们听了又听，却不明白；看了又看，却看不清。

祂说，“‘你去告诉百姓，你们听了又听，却不明白；看了又看，却不领悟。

他说：‘你去告诉这人民：你们听是听见了，总是不明白；看是看见了，总是不领悟。

他说：‘你去告诉这子民：你们将听了又听，但绝不会领悟；你们将看了又看，但绝不会明白；

他說：你去告訴這百姓說：你們聽是要聽見，卻不明白；看是要看見，卻不曉得；

他說：『你去對這百姓說：你們聽了又聽，卻不明白；看了又看，卻看不清。

他說：『你去對這百姓說：你們聽了又聽，卻不明白；看了又看，卻看不清。

祂說，『你去告訴百姓，你們聽了又聽，卻不明白；看了又看，卻不領悟。

他說：‘你去告訴這人民：你們聽是聽見了，總是不明白；看是看見了，總是不領悟。

他說：「你去告訴這人民說：你們要聽了又聽，卻決不領悟；要看了又看，卻決不看見；

他說：『你去告訴這子民：你們將聽了又聽，但絕不會領悟；你們將看了又看，但絕不會明白；

往告此民曰、爾將聽而不聰、視而不明、

往告此民曰、爾將耳聞而不聰、目視而不明、

其言云、往告此民曰、爾將聽而不聰、視而不明、

“‘ Go to this people and say,“ You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.”

“‘ Go to your people. Say to them,“ You will hear but never understand. You will see but never know what you are seeing.”

“‘ Go to this people, and say,“ You will indeed hear but never understand, and you will indeed see but never perceive.”

‘ Go and say to this people: When you hear what I say, you will not understand. When you see what I do, you will not comprehend.

when he said, Go to these people and say: You will always be listening, but never understanding; and you will always be looking, but never perceiving.

saying,‘ Go to this people and say,“ You will keep on hearing, and will not understand; And you will keep on seeing, and will not perceive;

saying,‘ Go to this people and say:“ Hearing you will hear, and shall not understand; And seeing you will see, and not perceive;

saying, Go thou unto this people, and say, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and shall in no wise perceive:

when He said, Go to these people and say: You will listen and listen, yet never understand; and you will look and look, yet never perceive.

Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:

when he said,‘ Go to this people and say,“ You will keep on hearing, but will never understand, and you will keep on looking, but will never perceive.

saying,‘ Go to this people and say, in hearing, you will hear, but will in no way understand. In seeing, you will see, but will in no way perceive.

若輩蓋所謂視而不見、聽而不悟、惟恐其幡然回頭而見赦者耳。』

意灑雅之預言、實應於若輩之身矣。其言曰：斯民之心、已成頑梗；厥耳重聽、厥目自閉、若恐其目之有見、耳之有聞、心之有悟、幡然回頭、而獲救於我也。」

耶穌曰：『天主國之奧義、賜爾知之；為他人惟設譬而已。彼乃所謂視而不見、聞而不悟者也。

蓋斯世之君、已矇不信者之心、以致基督榮耀福音之真光、亦無由照入；而基督固天主之肖影也。蓋吾人決不作自我宣傳、惟知宣揚吾主耶穌基督；而吾人則因耶穌之故、而充爾等之僕人者耳。夫天主昔嘗作光於黑暗之中矣、今乃照耀於吾人之心中、俾吾人得藉基督耶穌之聖容、而洞識天主之光榮。

遂啟其明悟、使領會經旨。

耶穌謂之曰：『愚人哉！何爾心之冥頑、而不信歷來先知之所言乎？

耶穌知而訓之曰：『奚以無餅為念？爾等今猶未見且未悟乎？豈爾心冥頑不靈、有目不見、有耳不聞耶？

經云：『天主已使其冥頑不靈、有目而不能見、有耳而不能聞、以迄於今；』此之謂也。大維亦曰：『願其筵席之化作羅穽兮、自食其所作之孽。願其目之昏矇而不見兮、背常曲而不直。』

此蓋所以應乎先知意灑雅之所言曰：『主乎！我之所傳、誰其信之？主之臂力、誰其領之？』眾人之不信、意灑雅亦已言之矣：『主已蒙其目、主已頑其心、恐其目有見、恐其心有靈、恐其即回頭、令吾全其生。』

我是雅瑋爾之主。攜爾脫離埃及地。但須爾張口。我必賜供飼。詎意吾民莫我聽。義塞之裔將我棄。
