諸君、我觀此次行舟、必多損害、不第舟與貨已也、且及我儕生命矣、

保羅告眾曰、我觀舟行、必多損害、不第舟與貨已也、且及我儕生命矣、

保羅勸眾曰、諸公、我觀此時航海、必多損害、不第舟與貨、且及我生命矣、

『諸君、予觀此次航行、不惟船貨俱損、即吾儕之生命亦恐難保。』

“ Men, I can see that our voyage is going to be disastrous and bring great loss to ship and cargo, and to our own lives also.”

“ Men,” he said,“ I can see that our trip is going to be dangerous. The ship and everything in it will be lost. Our own lives will be in danger also.”

saying,“ Sirs, I perceive that the voyage will be with injury and much loss, not only of the cargo and the ship, but also of our lives.”

“ Men,” he said,“ I believe there is trouble ahead if we go on— shipwreck, loss of cargo, and danger to our lives as well.”

and told them,“ Men, I can see that this voyage is headed toward disaster and heavy loss, not only of the cargo and the ship but also of our lives.”

saying to them,“ Men, I perceive that the voyage will certainly be with damage and great loss, not only of the cargo and the ship, but also of our lives.”

saying,“ Men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much loss, not only of the cargo and ship, but also our lives.”

and said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that the voyage will be with injury and much loss, not only of the lading and the ship, but also of our lives.

and told them,“ Men, I can see that this voyage is headed toward damage and heavy loss, not only of the cargo and the ship but also of our lives.”

And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.

“ Men, I can see the voyage is going to end in disaster and great loss not only of the cargo and the ship, but also of our lives.”

But coming to a place where two seas met, they ran the vessel aground. The bow struck and remained immovable, but the stern began to break up by the violence of the waves.The soldiers’ counsel was to kill the prisoners, so that none of them would swim out and escape.But the centurion, desiring to save Paul, stopped them from their purpose, and commanded that those who could swim should throw themselves overboard first to go toward the land;and the rest should follow, some on planks, and some on other things from the ship. So they all escaped safely to the land.

But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but to the intent that the interpretation may be made known to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your heart.

Pharaoh said to his servants,“ Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”Pharaoh said to Joseph,“ Because God has shown you all of this, there is no one so discreet and wise as you.

Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.

The friendship of Yahweh is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.

The man of God sent to the king of Israel, saying,“ Beware that you not pass this place; for the Syrians are coming down there.”The king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of; and he saved himself there, not once or twice.

Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying,“ It isn’t in me. God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”Pharaoh spoke to Joseph,“ In my dream, behold, I stood on the brink of the river;and behold, there came up out of the river seven cattle, fat and sleek. They fed in the marsh grass;and behold, seven other cattle came up after them, poor and very ugly and thin, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for ugliness.The thin and ugly cattle ate up the first seven fat cattle;and when they had eaten them up, it couldn’t be known that they had eaten them, but they were still ugly, as at the beginning. So I awoke.I saw in my dream, and behold, seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, full and good;and behold, seven heads of grain, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them.The thin heads of grain swallowed up the seven good heads of grain. I told it to the magicians, but there was no one who could explain it to me.”Joseph said to Pharaoh,“ The dream of Pharaoh is one. What God is about to do he has declared to Pharaoh.

When neither sun nor stars shone on us for many days, and no small storm pressed on us, all hope that we would be saved was now taken away.When they had been long without food, Paul stood up in the middle of them, and said,“ Sirs, you should have listened to me, and not have set sail from Crete and have gotten this injury and loss.Now I exhort you to cheer up, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.For there stood by me this night an angel, belonging to the God whose I am and whom I serve,saying,‘ Don’t be afraid, Paul. You must stand before Caesar. Behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you.’Therefore, sirs, cheer up! For I believe God, that it will be just as it has been spoken to me.But we must run aground on a certain island.”

Therefore I beg you to take some food; for this is for your safety; for not a hair will perish from any of your heads.”

“ If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will happen to the ungodly and the sinner?”

Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers,“ Unless these stay in the ship, you can’t be saved.”
