扫罗仍然向主的门徒口吐威吓凶杀的话，去见大祭司，

他们就满心大怒，彼此商议怎样处治耶稣。

他醒悟过来，就说：‘我父亲有多少的雇工，口粮有余，我倒在这里饿死吗？

他却为自己的过犯受了责备；那不能说话的驴以人言拦阻先知的狂妄。

保罗这样分诉，非斯都大声说：“保罗，你癫狂了吧。你的学问太大，反叫你癫狂了！”保罗说：“非斯都大人，我不是癫狂，我说的乃是真实明白话。

但这一切的事以先，人要下手拿住你们，逼迫你们，把你们交给会堂，并且收在监里，又为我的名拉你们到君王诸侯面前。

人干犯摩西的律法，凭两三个见证人，尚且不得怜恤而死，何况人践踏神的儿子，将那使他成圣之约的血当作平常，又亵慢施恩的圣灵，你们想，他要受的刑罚该怎样加重呢！
