至則謂之曰、爾曹皆知、我初來亞西亞、居恆與爾何如、

長老既至、保羅謂之曰、自我初來亞西亞之日、以至於今、我在爾曹中始終如何、爾曹知之、

既至、葆樂謂之曰：我自初來亞細亞之日、平素如何與爾相處、爾所知也；

When they arrived, he said to them:“ You know how I lived the whole time I was with you, from the first day I came into the province of Asia.

When they arrived he declared,“ You know that from the day I set foot in the province of Asia until now

When they came to him, he said to them,“ You know, from the first day I set foot in Asia, how I was with you the whole time,

And when they came to him, he said to them,“ You yourselves know, from the first day that I set foot in Asia, how I was with you the whole time,

And when they had come to him, he said to them:“ You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I always lived among you,

And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye yourselves know, from the first day that I set foot in Asia, after what manner I was with you all the time,

And when they came to him, he said to them:“ You know, from the first day I set foot in Asia, how I was with you the whole time—

And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,

When they arrived, he said to them,“ You yourselves know how I lived the whole time I was with you, from the first day I set foot in the province of Asia,

This continued for two years, so that all those who lived in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.

While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul, having passed through the upper country, came to Ephesus and found certain disciples.

He came to Ephesus, and he left them there; but he himself entered into the synagogue, and reasoned with the Jews.

and that our Good News came to you not in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and with much assurance. You know what kind of men we showed ourselves to be among you for your sake.You became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Spirit,

For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we didn’t behave ourselves rebelliously among you,neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you,not because we don’t have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.

We give no occasion of stumbling in anything, that our service may not be blamed,but in everything commending ourselves, as servants of God, in great endurance, in afflictions, in hardships, in distresses,in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in watchings, in fastings;in pureness, in knowledge, in perseverance, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and not killed;as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.Our mouth is open to you, Corinthians. Our heart is enlarged.

But you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness,

For you yourselves know, brothers, our visit to you wasn’t in vain,but having suffered before and been shamefully treated, as you know, at Philippi, we grew bold in our God to tell you the Good News of God in much conflict.For our exhortation is not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in deception.But even as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News, so we speak: not as pleasing men, but God, who tests our hearts.For neither were we at any time found using words of flattery, as you know, nor a cloak of covetousness( God is witness),nor seeking glory from men( neither from you nor from others), when we might have claimed authority as apostles of Christ.But we were gentle among you, like a nursing mother cherishes her own children.Even so, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you, not the Good News of God only, but also our own souls, because you had become very dear to us.For you remember, brothers, our labor and travail; for working night and day, that we might not burden any of you, we preached to you the Good News of God.You are witnesses with God how holy, righteously, and blamelessly we behaved ourselves toward you who believe.

For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that in holiness and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom but in the grace of God we behaved ourselves in the world, and more abundantly toward you.
