信者之眾、一心一志、無人謂我之貲屬我、所有悉為公用、

當時門徒加增、有言希拉言之門徒、怨希伯來門徒、因每日施濟、弗及其嫠婦、十二使徒告眾門徒曰、我儕不傳天主道、而司几席非所宜也、兄弟、當於爾曹中擇有美名、充滿聖神、智慧具備者七人、我儕立之以司此事、

蓋少種者少穫、多種者多穫、各當隨心所願、勿憂勿強、蓋樂施者天主所愛也、天主能以諸恩廣施於爾、使爾凡事恆足、可多行諸善、如經載云、彼散財濟貧、其義永存、天主賜種於播者、賜糧於食者、願其賜爾多種以播、增爾行義之果、賜爾凡事富足、得以博施、我集而散之、使受之者謝天主、蓋此施濟之事、不但補聖徒之不足、亦使多人感謝天主、彼由此施濟之事得證據、知爾誠服基督之福音、又博施於彼及眾人、而歸榮於天主、且彼因天主賜爾厚恩、即深慕爾、為爾祈禱、感謝天主、因其恩賜之多、非言所能盡也、

後則彼以其有餘、補爾之不足、此即均平矣、如經載云、多收者無餘、少收者無缺、○

爾曹知我主耶穌基督之恩、彼原富、為爾成貧、使爾因其貧而為富、

田未鬻、非屬爾乎、既鬻、其金非爾作主乎、心生此念何為、爾非欺人、乃欺天主、
