忽然有一陣好像強風吹過的響聲，從天而來，充滿了他們坐在裡面的整間屋子。

忽有聲自天如烈風衝突、充乎所坐之室、

忽自天有聲、如奮迅之風、充滿坐室、

忽自天有聲、如烈風迅吹、充滿所坐之室、

忽有聲來自天上、若大風之驟至、充乎全室；

Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

他們禱告完了，聚會的地方震動起來，他們都被聖靈充滿，放膽傳講神的道。

耶和華說：“你出來站在山上，在我耶和華面前。”那時，耶和華從那裡經過。在耶和華面前有強烈的大風，山崩石碎，但耶和華不在風中；風過以後有地震，但耶和華也不在地震中；

他乘著基路伯飛行，藉著風的翅膀急飛。

風隨意而吹，你聽見它的響聲，卻不知道它從哪裡來，往哪裡去；凡從聖靈生的，也是這樣。”

約在半夜，保羅和西拉祈禱歌頌神，囚犯們都側耳聽著。忽然發生了大地震，以致監牢的地基都搖動起來，所有的監門立刻開了，囚犯的鎖鍊都鬆了。

那時，他們還未呼求，我就應允，他們還在說話，我就垂聽。

那時，靈使我升起，我就聽見後面有轟轟的響聲：“耶和華的居所顯現出來的榮耀是應當稱頌的！”我又聽見那些活物的翅膀彼此相碰的聲音和活物旁邊的輪子的聲音，以及轟轟的響聲。

他對我說：“你要向氣息說預言。人子啊！你要說預言。你要向氣息說：‘主耶和華這樣說：氣息啊！你要從四方（“四方”原文作“四風”）而來，吹在這些被殺的人身上，使它們活過來。’”於是我遵命說預言，氣息就進入骸骨裡面，骸骨就活過來，並且站起，成了一支極大的軍隊。

北風啊！興起。南風啊！吹來。吹進我的園裡，讓其中的香氣散播出來。願我的良人進入他自己的園中，享用他佳美的果子。

萬軍之耶和華說：“看哪！我派我的使者，在我前面預備道路；你們所尋求的主，必忽然進入他的殿；你們所愛慕立約的使者，就要來到。”

忽然有一大隊天兵，同那天使一起讚美神說：
