She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting,“ These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.”She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit,“ In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her. (niv)

Then Jesus asked him,“ What is your name?”“ My name is Legion,” he replied,“ for we are many.”And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the area.A large herd of pigs was feeding on the nearby hillside.The demons begged Jesus,“ Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them.”He gave them permission, and the impure spirits came out and went into the pigs. The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned. (niv)

I know who you are— the Holy One of God!”“ Be quiet!” Jesus said sternly.“ Come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without injuring him. (niv)

Many times it had seized him, and though he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, he had broken his chains and had been driven by the demon into solitary places.Jesus asked him,“ What is your name?”“ Legion,” he replied, because many demons had gone into him.And they begged Jesus repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss.A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into the pigs, and he gave them permission. (niv)
