But when they opposed Paul and became abusive, he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them,“ Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent of it. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

But they opposed Paul. They treated him badly. So he shook out his clothes in protest. Then he said to them,“ God’s judgment against you will be your own fault! Don’t blame me for it! From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

And when they opposed and reviled him, he shook out his garments and said to them,“ Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

But when they opposed and insulted him, Paul shook the dust from his clothes and said,“ Your blood is upon your own heads— I am innocent. From now on I will go preach to the Gentiles.”

When they resisted and blasphemed, he shook out his clothes and told them,“ Your blood is on your own heads! I am innocent. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”

then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head. (niv)

I also shook out the folds of my robe and said,“ In this way may God shake out of their house and possessions anyone who does not keep this promise. So may such a person be shaken out and emptied!” At this the whole assembly said,“ Amen,” and praised the Lord. And the people did as they had promised. (niv)

When I say to a wicked person,‘ You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself. (niv)

Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, (niv)

They are surprised that you do not join them in their reckless, wild living, and they heap abuse on you. (niv)

All the people answered,“ His blood is on us and on our children!” (niv)

Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, (niv)

But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say,‘ Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.’ (niv)

And they said many other insulting things to him. (niv)

If people do not welcome you, leave their town and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” (niv)

What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith;but the people of Israel, who pursued the law as the way of righteousness, have not attained their goal.Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.As it is written:“ See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.” (niv)

For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Christ Jesus: You suffered from your own people the same things those churches suffered from the Jewswho killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to everyonein their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last. (niv)

But some of them became obstinate; they refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way. So Paul left them. He took the disciples with him and had discussions daily in the lecture hall of Tyrannus.This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord. “ Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. (niv)

“‘ If a man has sexual relations with his father’s wife, he has dishonored his father. Both the man and the woman are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.“‘ If a man has sexual relations with his daughter- in- law, both of them are to be put to death. What they have done is a perversion; their blood will be on their own heads. (niv)

As he says in Hosea:“ I will call them‘ my people’ who are not my people; and I will call her‘ my loved one’ who is not my loved one,”and,“ In the very place where it was said to them,‘ You are not my people,’ there they will be called‘ children of the living God.’” (niv)

Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure. (niv)

When the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy. They began to contradict what Paul was saying and heaped abuse on him.Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly:“ We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.For this is what the Lord has commanded us:“‘ I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’” (niv)

Many a time I went from one synagogue to another to have them punished, and I tried to force them to blaspheme. I was so obsessed with persecuting them that I even hunted them down in foreign cities. (niv)

“ Therefore I want you to know that God’s salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!” (niv)

If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. (niv)

Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring!I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministryin the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them.For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? (niv)

But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court?Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the noble name of him to whom you belong? (niv)

“‘ Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death. Because they have cursed their father or mother, their blood will be on their own head. (niv)

First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds. (niv)

If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet. (niv)

I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. (niv)

So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, the bad as well as the good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. (niv)

For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile— the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,for,“ Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (niv)

Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of any of you.For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God. (niv)
