說：「我實在告訴你們，你們若不回轉，變成小孩子的樣式，斷不得進天國。所以，凡自己謙卑像這小孩子的，他在天國裏就是最大的。

人若立志遵着他的旨意行，就必曉得這教訓或是出於神，或是我憑着自己說的。

人不可自欺。你們中間若有人在這世界自以為有智慧，倒不如變作愚拙，好成為有智慧的。

使智慧人聽見，增長學問，使聰明人得着智謀，

於是從摩西和眾先知起，凡經上所指着自己的話都給他們講解明白了。

也為我祈求，使我得着口才，能以放膽開口講明福音的奧祕，（我為這福音的奧祕作了帶鎖鍊的使者，）並使我照着當盡的本分放膽講論。
