對猶太人，我就作猶太人，為了要得著猶太人；對律法以下的人，雖然我自己不在律法之下，還是作了律法以下的人，為了要得著律法以下的人。

“你要告訴以色列人，對他們說：‘無論男女，如果許了特別的願，就是拿細耳人的願，就要離俗歸耶和華。

“‘在他許願離俗的日子，不可用剃刀剃頭；他要聖潔，直到他離俗歸耶和華的日子滿了，他要由他的頭髮長長。“‘在他離俗歸耶和華的日子，不可走近死人。他的父母、兄弟或是姊妹，死了的時候，他不可因他們玷污自己，因為離俗歸他神的記號，在他的頭上；在他離俗的日子，他都是歸耶和華為聖的。“‘如果在他身旁，突然有人死了，以致他離俗的頭被玷污了，他就要在得潔淨的日子剃頭，就是在第七日剃頭。

後來，我到了敘利亞和基利家一帶的地方。

他走遍了敘利亞、基利家，堅固眾教會。

這人在會堂裡放膽講論起來；百基拉和亞居拉聽了，就把他接來，把神的道更準確地向他講解。

我們遠遠看見塞浦路斯，就從南邊駛過，直航敘利亞，在推羅靠了岸，因為船要在那裡卸貨。

於是寫信給他們帶去，信上說：“使徒和作長老的弟兄們，向安提阿、敘利亞、基利家的外族眾弟兄問安。
